Just leave well alone? Play on until a golden goal wins (like in school), Rock, paper, scissors? Really cant see what alternative options there can be?

Make the goals wider, this could be easily achieved by using jumpers for goalposts and have running keepers, no offsides and three corners a penalty.

I think it should be decided "Celebrity Death Match" style. The referee withdraws from the game and the only rule that stands is the team to put the ball in the back of the opponents net next wins.

Each team gets one kick from one goal mouth and the further the ball travels that team wins. If it happens to land on a passing truck then so be it. Wherever the truck stops the ball stops.

Bring on the wags of each team and have a mud wrestling battle royal. The last women in wins it for her team

Sepp Blatter would have been saying penalties were wonderful had Bayern won. Things only need changing in his view when an English Team does well with the rules as they stand. Rather than getting rid of penalties, we need to replace Sepp Blatter.
