So who were the Dumfries 19 ?

Featured Replies

I went to a 0-0 QoS match on a Tuesday night about 12-15 years ago, not sure if this is the same one you are referring to but there seemed to be more on the bench than in the away end

That's the one and for the old demented Naelifts I can confirm that you were in attendance with Mantis.

What a memory you have man!. Proud to be one of the 19

Shocking news for Naelifts - I was actually the driver that night. That means Wanderer and Dougie were 2 more as they were definitely in the car.

According to Broadfoot it was 11/3/03 which tallies as I was shouting at Hissy to swing on the bar, just as he had done in our 2-0 dismantling of County 3 days before. It was also the night the Duckman legend was born.

Myself and Govan Jaggie were part of the 19 that night. Horrible 0-0 draw where we took our frustrations out on Barry Robson who was shocking that night

That is 9....................can we get twenty?

There was a midweek away game at Ayr United round about the same time - won 3-1 iirc, and I counted 12 people in the shed behind the goals. May have been others in the stand.

The pie stall people were begging the Ayr Dozen to buy more edibles.
