How much are we likely to make from reaching the final?

I think the prize money for winning is around 75k. On top of that is share of semi and final gate reciepts + tv monies. Maybe 200k total. Its not something thats really publicised.

On top of above there's incentive to win and gain 130k euro for making second qualifying round of Europa.

Hopefully, that should be our usual financial losses covered for this year then. Maybe Yogi will get a wee bit more money to secure or strengthen the squad for next season. 

I believe St Johnstone made in the region of of £450,000 last season winning the cup.

 

Whoever wins this season may well earn a bit less due to the anticipated lower crowd but nevertheless, should it be us, a very useful windfall and, even by reaching the final, we have guaranteed a modest profit for the financial year which is likely to increase the player budget for next season by a little.
