I quite liked the January transfer window thread on here because it brought a lot of speculation and good discussion between posters.

How would you like to see the summer window go? Where should we strengthen? Who should leave the club?

My wish list for next season that we strengthen in the left back and attacking options. Keeping guys like Miles Storey and Owain Fon Williams should be an imperative.

Noticed in in the daily record today that John Fleck is looking for another club. Would be an ideal replacement for Ryan Christie. El Bahkatoui of Dunfermline would be a fantastic addition to our club too.

Hope we get our business done early doors.

We've been signing non league players up until now .. I'll happily take a young player with pedigree from a Championship team.  No risk for us in a 6 month loan .. if it doesn't work out then he

That's a ridiculous statement, there is no way tight Aberdonians will pay train fares when the Megabus is only £1

Ritchie Foran has pulled a master stoke in getting Jake Mulraney's signature. He will be a fans favourite because he is what you pay your money in for. Lightening quick, off the cuff, direct winger wi

Thanks IBM, will do the same for you if you get targeted by the ignorant !

Now gentlemen, I have just been told-off for allegedly going off topic so youse yins will have to very careful 'cos you are just relative sprogs on here and don't have the time in like IHE and Old Scarlet. In your reply please be nice to your senior citizens, it's a memory thing don't you know?

Good to see a bit of 'early' and proactive movement on some contract negotiations. Makes a change from waiting until a better offer comes in.  Predictable news with Tansey though, I just hope if he is to leave, we can both cash in on that, AND hope he goes anywhere else but down the A96!

Yeah good to see the club making an early start with contracts. Would be great to see Meekings stay on but he is such a talented defender I do wonder how long we can hold on to him.

The Tansey situation sounds less promising. "Wanting to focus on his /  my football" is basically code for "I'm not intending to sign a new deal" which we've seen plenty of times in the past.

Maybe it's time to solve the too many central midfielders (Draper, Vigurs, Polworth, Tansey) problem by trying to find a solution without Tansey, and try and offload him for whatever we can get in January.

Well, both are good lads. One needs more experience  and the other more games. They will need to work hard on bedding in and we wish both of them well. The lad from England may have some adjusting to do to the pace of the game and understanding the brogues but seems like a good chance for him to do really well. As for Brad there is no point in looking back, just work hard fit in and let it flow and remember real talent will out.

Poor defender with almost no positional sense and prone to errors. Massively underwhelmed by this but if he does sign hopefully Warren and Meekings stay fit.

Mckay with another impressive performance yesterday to get it right up me again. Long may it continue!
