Watched the Moldova game. What a turgid and depressing performance the 3 points notwithstanding.

Some woeful finishing on display.

I think it’s 3 wins in 12 matches, against Moldova, Luxembourg and Faroes, and 2 of those were 1-0. We have some very good players but we are not a very good team.

We offer nothing in final 3rd of pitch sadly. Depressing 

Great result tonight and a really big game against Israel next. If we can win it, we will amazingly be in pole position to finish second in the group and get into the play offs, with away games against the Faroes and Moldova ahead of our last game at home to Denmark. 

Slightly better this evening, especially in the second half.

A very welcome three points although the penalty was extremely soft and Dykes was very fortunate to see his poorly struck effort cross the line.

 

One of the best results in recent years. Terrific defending, and as the game went on Austria just ran out of ideas and I never expected them to equalise, even though experience has taught me to expect the worst when it comes to Scotland.
