Supporters Trust: Updates to Members

We issued updates to members following our Board Meetings in January and February. You can read the updates in posts in the Supporters Trust Forum:

https://caleythistleonline.com/forum/152-supporters-trust/

The February update includes details of the Fans Meeting that will take place at 1230 on Saturday 1 March in Bar 94, with an additional matchday bus being provided by Stagecoach at 1200 to the Stadium, which will allow time to grab a pie or a drink before the meeting starts.

Charlie Christie and Scott Young will both be joining us to give an update on the club’s situation, whilst Charlie will also look back on the club’s first 30 years in conversation with our Chair, George Moodie.

The meeting is open to all fans and we hope to see many of you there.

If you are not already a member of the Trust, joining is easy (and only £5, or £1 for under 16s):

Well done to all those involved and I hope the gig will be well supported...... having said that, we will be away on holiday then, so we can't make it. Hope the turn out is good and a great night is had by all.

Out of curiosity how many people can the bar take?

Might it be worthwhile having a monthly quiz night or bingo or something? It could be done after a home game at say 6pm. Long enough to still cater for those wanting a quick drink and to see players before heading off but not so long a wait for those hanging about for the quiz/bingo/whatever.

Charge a fiver and include a pie/sausage roll in the price.

We have been waiting until the much needed reinstatement of the ladies' toilets is complete before holding anything significant (they were removed to create showers for away players during Covid and never reinstated by the previous regime).

That work will be complete before Calum Jones plays on 12 April, and we hope this will be the first of many popular and successful events.

With our enlarged Board we have now created an Events Subgroup, which has a number of exciting ideas about things we can do next season.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we welcome suggestions from any member or fan.

The bar can comfortably hold more than 150. We have sourced 62 seats that are much more comfortable than those they have replaced, and along with the benches by the window and the bar stools, we have seating for around 100, plus standing room for many more.

Also rejoined after a reminder.

Also a reminder here from us, that you can join the Supporters Trust "Club" on here for free .... This is not the Trust itself, but a dedicated sub-section of this site that they manage and moderate themselves. We put it into a club format so that they could not only have their own forum(s) but also have access dedicated download areas, blogs and anything else they might need.

The unread topics from the club area still appear listed alongside the normal forums provided you join that area (for free), and it only costs you money if and when you join the actual Supporters Trust organisation through their own website, which, for a fiver a year is pretty good value IMHO.

Thanks Scotty, and welcome to those who have joined the "club" recently.

As you make your plans for Saturday's game, remember that the Supporters Trust is hosting a Fans Meeting at 1230 in Bar 94, at which Alan Savage will give an update on the club and answer questions from fans.

All are welcome, and Stagecoach will be operating an additional matchday bus from the Bus Station at 1200 to get you to the ground in plenty time for the meeting.

Following our recent Board Meeting, we issued an update to members on Wednesday.

A lot has happened in a short time since then, particularly the confirmation by Alan Savage yesterday that he now has full control of the club, and some of his plans for the future.

We have also announced players who will be attending the Cup Final Anniversary and launched the Prize Draw for the new kits, with details in separate threads.

You can read the update here:

Update to Members: September 2025

As Scotty has highlighted, as part of the upgrades to the site, the Supporters Trust has its own section. Joining the club (which is separate to Trust membership) allows you to comment on posts. You can join the club here:

Tremendous effort by the Supporters Trust who have now managed to get a seat in the boardroom.

Well done to George Moodie who has been driving the Trust forward and leading by example. What an effort over the last year to get to where they/we are right now. It's light years ahead of anything that had been previous offered and blocked by previous incumbents.

Update to Members: November 2025: A Milestone Moment for the Supporters Trust

It’s been a long time coming, but last week marked a significant milestone for the Supporters Trust. I had the privilege of attending our very first Board Meeting of the Football Club.

This is something the Trust has worked tirelessly toward for many years. At times, it felt like a distant goal, but under new owner Alan Savage, we were warmly welcomed to the Boardroom table for the first time.

The meeting was extremely positive. What’s clear is that the club is working hard behind the scenes on many fronts to drive progress. In particular, there’s a strong focus on reconnecting with the local community and building a stronger reputation both on and off the pitch.

It’s exciting to be involved, to contribute, and most importantly, to bring the voice of supporters into the Boardroom. We’re now working on a way for members to share feedback on the issues that matter most and help us enhance the supporter experience at the stadium.

Thank you for your continued support in getting us to this point. Now, the real work begins.

Thank you for your kind feedback.

This is a momentous time for the Supporters Trust and the club and, now more than ever, we would urge anyone who is not a member of the Trust to join us and help us to contribute positively to the successful future of our club.

Membership is only £5 (or £1 for under 16s), and there are various ways that you can join us. Just follow this link to see the options:

Also in our update to Members, we advised that we are running a coach to the away game at East Fife on 6 December.

This followed the success of the "Johndo Away Day" at Kelty last year and requests from members that we run a coach to this game.

The price is £20 per person, and you can reserve and pay for your seat here:

Buy tickets – East Fife Away Coach – Sarens PSG Stadium

Full details are here:

East Fife Away Coach - 6th Dec

We hope this trip will prove as popular as the Kelty trip last year.
