Rooney's Right Foot

Having watched him get stretchered off this afternoon I am sure that like Beckham's foot and then Owen's foot the papers and news are going to be full of the Fat Boy's foot.

Ah well I bet it is that famous metatorsal thingy again.... :D :D :D :D

Just kidding

You have to be either injured or bent to get in England's World Cup squad. Luckily for Ashley Cole he is both.

I was listening to 5live tonight and dont the english worry so many callers are already making excuses for losing the wc its great

:D :D :D

i was under the impression they had already won it!!

What was it Motson said on MOTD tonight. Yesterday we lost a manager today perhaps the World Cup?

Scolari was only offered the job - not accepted and as for the other bit

Sorry but reading some of the english messagebaords is hilarious

FANTASTIC excuse for Sven just in case the unimaginable happens and they don't win the World Cup!!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

And they wonder why people in Scotland hate the media in England, sorry Britain.

But that quote really is fantastic... made my morning!

It appears we have not heard the last of Owen's foot either

My foot does not feel right," Owen told the News of the World. "I felt something go after 10 minutes. But it's not the kind of pain I experienced when I needed a second operation.

"I will have to go and see the surgeon. Until then I don't know how serious it is. It doesn't feel perfect.

"Is it pain? I don't know how to explain it. There is a numbness there.

Riveting stuff....

Oh and as for the great Motty it was simply just a case of Foot 'n Mouth :D

I wonder if they're currently considering applying to FIFA to get the World Cup put back a few weeks.... would only seem fair and would save the trophy engraver having to scrub out England's name from the cup.

It's ok they reckon he will be fit for there 1/4 final match!!

Bit arrogant eh?

GREAT motivation for Paraguay, Sweden + T&T to stuff 'em in the group stages

:lol::lol: You would think Scotland didn't have their own national team reading this

Even more amusing is the suggestion that Rooney may be sleeping in an oxygen tent to help speed up the recuberation period!

 Just like Wacko Jacko

Next he'll be getting a pet chimp

you not saw his bird.... i think he already has.

Now Sven is saying they will take him - even if its only to play in the final!!!

Unbeliveable

Oh icant wait till england get knocked out of the cup - then we ll here all the excuses

I think we are hearing the excuses now.

Sven gets paid roughly £4 million a year and he doesn't have a Plan B!!:lol::lol::lol:

  • 3 weeks later...

Still not healed :004:

ANOTHER 3 weeks before he knows if he can even start training

Surely he can't seriously be taken along now??

They were doing a piece on the sports section of the local news over here last night about the world cup .... they were talking about certain teams chances, although mention of the Italians was more to do with their official D&G suits rather than their chances !!

When it came to talking to people on the street, they ignored every team except England in interviews with the public. It seems that the Canadian England supporters are expecting nothing less than a world cup win .....

However, the really funny (and portrayed as arrogant) part of the segment came at the very end when they revealed that England officials have already organised a 'victory party' for the 10th July - the day after the final !!! - arrogant swines I say, I say arrogant swines (the media and officials I mean, not the normal English people) ~Clicky~
