Group H looks like it could be interesting... Juventus back in the big time with Real Madrid and UEFA Cup winners Zenit. No one is really sure who BATE Borisov are . Lyon, Bayern & Fiorentina might be an interesting battle for top two spots, don;t know who good Steaua are these days. Barcelona & Sporting should have Group C wrapped up, cant see Basel or Shakhtar causing them any major problems.

And the other uninteresting group see Inter et Mourinho face Werder, Panathinaikos & Cypriot side Anothosis Famagusta (who played Rangers a couple of years back).

That gives Celtic at least a chance of making progress.

Why, do 3 teams go through?

Liverpool will struggle to get out of that group. But no doubt Gerrard will save the day again for the most average team ever to reach a Champions League Final/Semi Final in recent years!!

But you are still miles off the pace in England the last few seasons despite spending millions on players some of whom have turned out to be very poor signings indeed.
