IMRIE :D :D :D :D Sneaked my MOM. Excellent first half, faded mid way through the second fer 10-15 minutes but got a second win. Brilliant free kick - looked a lot more comfortable on the left. Went asleep fer the first goal.

BLACK :D :D He just looked frustrated from the off. Just couldnt get into the game and showed his frustration and should really have walked. But he comes back out and looks the part again, looks calmer and then he is hooked !!

COWIE :D :D :D :D Just like the old Don fer the first 45 but the goal changed it completely. He had to drop back and was in no mans land fer 15 minutes - then he had to withdraw into a deep midfield position - that was a very poor decision tactically.

WOOD :D :D That was fer the goal. He missed an absolute sitter which could have changed the whole game - he did the same at Falkirk but we survived - he simply isnt ready yet but he has potential.

dont see what the fuss over wood starting is. :018: fact is other than the miss in the first half yesterday that his was the best individual display by any of our strikers this season. yes we could have done with signing a decent experienced forward pre season but who would that be on our budget.?

we've already got rid of an internationalist forward, a club record goal scorer and a some decent squad players and to be honest i'm not even bothered anymore. quite enjoying seeing what the younger lads have to offer and from what they've shown so far they deserve to be there.

For me the missing links in a game like this one is Hart and Bayne.

Hart has been fantastic for County this season apparently.

Rooney came on against Dundee utd and we looked dangerous, it was the same yesterday.

I think having him and Wood up front against Motherwell could be a good idea.

To be honest, think he's found his level in the first. Brought something different to the team (1-1 at Ibrox) but was to inconsistent to really make an impact in the SPL.

I suspect that if we had Bayne in the team on Saturday we would have got at least a point.

i thought we missed Vigurs composure and his ability to see a forward pass, a boy with talent like his shouldn't be sitting on the bench watching players that arent as good as he is...i would have played him instead of McBain.

Black didnt really rise to the occasion unfortunately.

i thought imirie and duncan played well.

i think brew was going for experience, cant understand his decision to start wood, saying that wood put himself about.
