There's no point moaning about decisions. You win some and you lose some.

For the offside, the replay's not conclusive. Higdon's going in as Tokely's going out but at the time of the pass he could have been on. And McCann could be behind the ball when Higdon shoots.

For the penalty, either the defender got a touch or Rooney's touch was too strong, so I can see where the ref was coming from.

We need to take our chances when we get them, as has been said on other threads.

Grassa on BBC Scot expressing his anger that the ref would not enter into any discussion with Brewster after the game and that his decisions have cost the club a lot of money. All very well making noises after the event but these things tend to even out overe the season and unfortunately we just have to take it on the chin! I would worry more about our run of poor results, especially at home - relegation would probably be terminal.

Caley Thistle have just released a new line in the club shop in time for Xmas .... The David Somers Dartboard

post-2-1225458524.gif

Interesting to note that the refereee is now basically calling the Caley Thistle players liars !!http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/914317

Barry Wilson is still angered by the failure of referee David Somers to award the Highlanders a penalty in their League Cup quarter-final defeat by Falkirk in midweek. The 36-year-old Wilson's sense of injustice following the 1-0 defeat was intensified as he claimed the official apologised for not awarding an Inverness spot-kick after Falkirk's Dutch defender Gerard Aafjes brought down Adam Rooney in the second half.

"Grant Munro and I asked the referee about the penalty at the end of the game and he said 'sorry about that'. Maybe he was being sarcastic because we did not get the decision, I don't know".

A spokesman for the SFA said: "The referee denies the suggestion he apologised for not giving a penalty.

I said it but there's no way you can prove it and I am not going to make myself look like a bigger **** by admitting it
