  1. Seven wins in a row and now 6 points clear. I'm certainly in the camp of it would be good for the Highlands to have 2 SPL teams. Of course we get the Highland derbies back, and extra income from the attendances, as well as the excitement of the derby, but It occured to me the other day though, that there is one other massive benefit. We will have another ally in the fight against a 10 team SPL. If two teams are needed to block it, then with other Chairmen started to stutter, then ourselves and County could be key IF everything goes to plan for us and them until the end of the season. Years ago, Highland teams were blocked from joining the SFL, and even when we joined, there were many lowlanders not happy to travel 'such long distances'. How fitting would it be, that in a years time, it could be 2 Highland teams that dictate the whole structure of the league. That really would be 2 fingers to all the prejudiced ones who don't want us there!

  2. Your "patter" is getting rather predictable and boring. Throw around so much BS that eventually something comes right and the rest is laughed off as wind-up...or, as you are doing here, take a piece of news and try and create something that never existed to try and prove some point that doesn't need proving. Butcher has no history of rushing players back after injury....in fact, he could almost be accused of the opposite. Or have I just taken the bait on another of your fishing trips!!!

  5. Personally, I think our squad is good enough - as long as there are no more injuries. If, come January we are full strength then I think we will be starting to climb the table. No need to pay extra expenses if we have the squad available. If we have lots of injuries again and still at the bottom / close to the bottom, then maybe look at short term deals. However, I think the priority would be trying to extend Davis loan deal for the whole season.

  8. Your responses are becoming more and more tedious and akin to a moderator who can never say anything negative at all. You used to have balls but now you are well and truly in the realms of the blinded loyal. :rotflmao: Where did I even mention Butcher in all of this - as far as I am concerned it is a problem that has been around fer years - we always push the players to play before they are 100% - going back to Niculae. My main point was at the end but it is possible that you never even got that far before launching in to a personal abbeartion becos I am clearly more prone to being honest and controversial than the shell that you sadly have become. At least I bring debate, humour and stimulation to proceedings - Or have I just taken the bait on another of your fishing trips!!

  9. I find it so important now to be a role model and an inspiration. And I know that may sound strange to some people, but most important is my connection with my fellow posters and the connection that they breed with one another. - Johndo MacKenzie

  11. Of course it would be the correct thing to have both ICT and County fighting it out together in the SPL for a multitude of reasons. However, how far away is such a reality? Much better odds of ICT climbing up the table clear of relegation than County maintaining their heady heights into the New Year.
