  1. And they wonder why attendances are low with these prices.
  2. Is there a possibility of broadcasting a stream of this for fans who can't make it to the TCS? Something like http://www.ustream.tv/ would be great.
  3. 1 point
And getting back on track would be potentially the greatest testament ever.
  4. Shocking - there could be a riot if somebody jumped the queue or bought the last pie or an opposition fan accidentally sprayed wee on anothers leg. And what if ya went for a dump and the ******* before ya used the last piece of toilet roll. It is all a recipe fer disaster.
  5. I'm not sure if it's been mentioned already, but there didn't seem to be any police at the game on Saturday and there was no segregation apart from the seating (so much so that upon arrival, I accidentally wandered into the home end!), with both sets of fans using the same pie stalls and toilets etc. Supposedly this is quite common at Fir Park, unless it's a big game. I would have thought as well that this'll save Motherwell police costs in the process. Surely this is something ICT should look into in the future?
  6. Just as an aside, I have met the said Philip Roberts outwith football and outwith ICT altogether, and he is an extremely laid-back person, charming, polite, and the comments made herein about him "not being liked" are alien to the young man I met. I hope he goes on to be an extremely good and well known footballer in the higher leagues of football - go on, Philip, show us all what you can do in the future, away from Inverness and those sour critics. You have my best wishes. Liz S
  7. Terry and co need to look at the bigger picture in Inverness. Putting aside "refusniks" as they are now pretty much irrelevant in this, the historical element of football supporters in Sneck following a HL team but having a "proper big team" will take at least 2 generations to filter out. In my own street, immediate neebors are both indigenous Invernessians, one Celtic and one Jambo, myself,a Dee in the middle and after that next 2 neebors are also incomers, one Arsenal ,one Sevco. So, out of 5 households taken at random, all with keen football supporters in them, NONE follow the local team, despite ICT currently being FAR more successful than all but one of our chosen teams. Why does Terry think we don't don our winter woolies and fork out £25 to watch ICT V Killie on a wet Wednesday night with Champions league free on telly?,because we "don't deserve it" !! No Terry, the only folk you get to with these comments are the hard core loyal troops already attending, and are more likely to alienate them than encourage us "non deservers" to attend. Supporting local football is bred in from a young age and loyalty to a club and value for money entertainment are what take supporters back time again to watch what is now massively overpriced in it's market,(not to mention the over policing and stewarding, crap catering etc) most teams are very fortunate to still be getting the numbers they do when all things are taken into consideration and clubs need to market and sell the product far better than they do currently and give fans a sense of being part of the club to induce real loyalty.Whats the answer?, Fecked if i know, but irritating the hard core you already have on board sure aint the way to do it.
