  1. Brora are playing Wick on Wednesday night. Could we have a word with Barry and loan him there for a few days, serve his suspension at that game and get him back? Has anything like this happened before? Anywhere?

  2. It's funny isn't it? When Raven first started, almost everyone (myself included) thought he was trash! Now he's one of our most consistent players!

  3. I sort of agree with you, but the point about the unnatural position is that the player deliberately places his arms in a position where the ball is more likely to hit, and so whilst the ball may hit the hand or arm, there remains a deliberate intention in the action. It is important to have that clarification otherwise, as suggested above, you could have defenders at corners or free kicks with their hands (or one of them at any rate!) above their heads. Apparently Cardinal O'Brien had his hand in an unnatural position and now he's paying the penalty - although in his case it appeared to be a clear case of hand to ball.

  4. Get it in your diaries. Ross County take on the Pride of the North on Tuesday the 19th of March at the sandpit. Kick off is at 7pm. Entry is free.

  6. Wasn't it a pest that he got his head in the way of the ball on Saturday...............bloody nuisance Ach, caley100 just needs a hate figure, for Raven read Hastings, now where's oats when you need him Im still here, i didnt hate Hastings, i had one Corkies fueled rant at his inability to run and pass at the same time and politely asked him to return from where he came that was a log time ago, i have mellowed a fair bit since then.

  7. Personally I think refs give too many penalties for handball. It's only an infringement if it was deliberate. All this stuff spouted by refs and pundits about arms being in "unnatural positions" forms no part of the rules. The ref just needs to ask himself "Did he mean it?" and usually the answer is no, the ball just hit a player's hand because there was no time to move it out of the way.

  10. I'm pretty sure the rulebook was ripped up when the decision on Rangers enquiry was announced the other day, so we should just play him anyway.

  11. ^^Predictable response^^ ^^Predictable response ^^ , care to explain your problem with my post ? No problem with what you wrote. I only commented that it was predictable. As in, its the opposite view of the vast majority of people who have commented on here, in other places, and people I have spoken to that were at the game, and what I seen on TV. It is obviously your style to be the opposite of the majority and to stir things up for your own reasons. Hence, your post was predictable.

  12. All we need to do is equal or better those below us. Simples. I believe we will take three from Dundee. I believe County will lose to Celtic. Those results should set us up for a decent derby match on a decent surface with, hopefully, a decent referee. And an ICT win.

  13. I tried to model the possible outcomes at the split, but there are endless permutations because it is all so bunched up at the moment. But a few of observations: 1. It is technically possible for us to lose all our remaining games and still manage 5th at the split. But that depends on the bottom teams suddenly becoming invincible, and everything else going the right way for us. 2. Even if we beat Dundee on Saturday to reach 46 points, if everything else goes the wrong way we could still end up down in 9th at the split! 3. Drawing all our remaining games still doesn't guarantee us top 6. So in conclusion: my advice to Terry is to win all our remaining games, just to be on the safe side. Hope that helps.

  14. Was so blatant that no video replay should have been needed. unfortunately does'nt matter what anyone thinks, it is the referee's decision that counts every time. some people say do not complain about ict stadium anouncer without trying it first. maybe some should have a go at refereeing before criticising
