  1. Just one more thing we've achieved that County haven't....the list grows longer by the day.
  2. Good effort from the club , I'd reckon a crowd of 3500 ish would be a decent turnout considering the time of the game and the quality of opposition .
  3. Half Season 'Player Sponsorship' deals now available. http://ictfc.com/commercial/sponsorship/player-sponsorship Previously unavailable options for a couple of players have also just become available.
  4. The top-flight, in its current format (12 teams) is now in its 15th season. Possibly enough to use average points as a guide to final finishing places? Not just for us obviously, but for any club. As these are averages, it could a guide to where a club is likely to finish if they maintain their current ratio. Yes, I admit it's a rough guide - and flawed by the split (shown by the best-of-the-rest 7th placed average tally being higher than the average for 6th) but it's an interesting table. Our 38 points from 20 games is a fantastic return of 1.9 points per game. Our best ever ratio of 1.53 would 'ordinarily' be sufficient for 4th place but 'only' secured 5th - and our worst (0.97 points) was worthy of 11th, rather than relegation. If we maintained our current 1.9 ratio - on average, we could expect to finish 3rd (72pts), although the vagaries of the league demonstrate that it could be good enough for runner-up, but also 4th! The shaded blue areas on the graph are what we've already surpassed in this campaign. Just a bit of fun - let's hope I'm not tempting fate!
  5. For those who wish to help with spreading the word by putting a poster up at work, school, local shop, community centre or wherever, then you can download a printable copy from HERE Also, as we expect a few people along who may never have been to the ground before and/or may not understand how the offer works we've put together a wee FAQ which can be downloaded HERE
  6. Technically Rangers have never been relegated either - they went out of business before a new club with a very similar name appeared in the lower reaches of the SFL.
  7. I see that their club shop sells Ross County air fresheners, its good to see them trying to improve things for the local community.
  8. He would have been as well just saying "We're 5hit, and we know we are"
  9. Greg Tansey signed a new 2 and a half year deal!
  10. The enjoyment has been legislated out of football in Scotland plain and simple. There has always been a "highland reserve" that sees us a bit less outgoing than some other fans but I have posted here before that this reserve is now multiplied with the addition of a fear of being lifted, kicked out, and/or having a football banning order thrown at you ..... the legislation, whilst correct for the purpose for which it was intended was carelessly written, hastily pushed through, and badly implemented with the end result that virtually anything can get you a conviction that could affect your enjoyment of football and even your career at the whim of a steward or police officer who is having a bad day !!! I see a huge difference when I attend matches on my trips home nowadays compared to before I emigrated. Contrast that with my Toronto season ticket where the renewal paperwork for the supporters sections actually says "Seat Holders in these sections will be permitted to stand persistently throughout matches, as well as use pre-approved flags, banners and drums. For those who would like to sit in these sections, it's important to understand that their view may be obstructed during the match.". The results on field have been absolute crap for 8 years but the atmosphere in the supporters section is normally pretty good with banter, songs, banners ..... and alcohol !!!
