  1. Couldn't care less about the ticket allocation as long as we get a sufficient number AND a good location. If i recall correctly we were near the centre line v Dundee and stuck in a corner v Dunfermline. Give Celtic 40,000 tickets and it will make our victory all the sweeter.
  2. Maybe we need a thread entitled "Ex-ICT players don't score"! Billy has none from 6 appearances for Wigan, and his record for NI is none from 9. Meanwhile, Torbjorn Agdestein has none from 13 appearances for Haugesund. This is on the back of none from 16 at ICT, and in the 3 years before joining us he also scored none for Brighton, none for Bath City as well as none for Norway U21s. At least he's consistent!
  3. The semi-finals every year are at Hampden except for last season where the stadium was being developed. I'm not sure why everyone is whinging about this. The only thing worth moaning about is the kick off time. Any kick off time across the whole weekend would have been fine except before 1330 on a Sunday. Can't understand why it kicks off then, we'll be arriving from Musselburgh on the day and It seems a hassle to get to hampden from their! But then again who understands anything the SFA does at the moment.
  4. I may be wrong here, I often am, but when we reached our first League Cup semi final a couple of seasons back a lot of us were saying all semi finals should be at Hampden when they announced Easter Road. I am starting to find this "They all hate us" mentality getting tedious and think we are forgetting or overlooking what a great achievement this is and instead of getting excited, some, are wallowing in self pity. The decision is made, Sunday 19th April 2015 at Hampden Park. Let's start enjoying the build up and encourage people to get there and get behind the team and let ICT do what they do best, beat the odds and shock Scottish football.
  5. The first bus of the season will depart for Hamilton at 08:45 from The Caley Club in Grieg Street and 09:00 from Tulloch caledonian Stadium. Pick up in Aviemore and a stop at Broxden. Price is still an amazingly good value £15 per person so phone John on 07951309504 to book your self on the bus. Please do it soon, so that we can get a good idea of numbers. Remember that we can only keep running buses if you keep using them. Thanks for your continuing and brilliant support.
  6. 1-1 after an hour apparently. We scored just on half time, they equalised 5 minutes after the break. Full Time 1-1
  7. My post above was very much tongue in cheek and realistically there is no viable alternative to a Glasgow venue even if there is a viable alternative to the timing. But whilst the venue probably should be big enough to take the demand for tickets, I personally don't think Hampden is the correct venue, Maybe I'm old fashioned but to me, part of the romance of the cup is that Hampden dream - a dream which meant you were playing in the final and if you won the match your captain would lift the trophy. Having the semis at Hampden as well rather dilutes the experience and the achievement of getting there IMO. Some would say that is over sentimental and that it is logical to have the semis at Hampden because it increases exposure to the Hampden experience to more players and supporters, it increases the use of the national stadium, it increases revenues and it helps to familiarise players to the venue prior to the main event. All those are probably true but whether true or not, they interfere with the romance of the cup. And if they are true then would those arguments suggest we should also play the quarter finals at Hampden? Getting to Hampden used to mean playing in the final. Oh that that was still the case!
  8. The dates for each game HAVE NOT been confirmed yet and I would take the date on the BBC website with a pinch of salt. Like our fixtures system, you have to put in a date/time in order to list a match and they have listed that semi as the "default" Saturday at 3pm settings. Please do not go booking travel/accommodation based on one or the other.
This leaderboard is set to London/GMT+01:00
