The last time 'Rangers were in the top flight' will remain the very last time Rangers were in the top flight. The Rangers who were promoted to the Premiership are a new entity even if they are follow followed by many of the same moronic sectarian bile spouting hoards.
  2. So long as N.Ireland don't lose 4-0 to Germany they will qualify IMO. They have a much better goal difference than Albania and they only need to better one other group which I think will be the Ireland - Sweden group. Both teams are currently on 1 point and as they are both playing Italy and Belgium I can't see them winning, therefore both being knocked out for finishing 3rd with a maximum of 2 points

Slightly against the above posts but since we have been in the topflight we always played 3 home games against the old firm before the split. I 'assumed' as did other fans I know that this would be the case so I do think that Partick have every right to be hacked off with Neil Doncaster and his cronies. I am pretty sure the Caley board (and most fans) would have been up in arms if we had been in Partick Thistles shoes. I am however surprised that it is three teams in the central belt that have been stitched up and not ICT. The SPFL should have advised all clubs that there was the possibility of only getting 2 home games against the old firm before the split, if only to avoid negative press when the fixtures were announced. Same old SPFL - no communication with the clubs Motherwells comments made me laugh - complaining about a midweek trip to Inverness at Christmas. We had to travel to Hamilton over Christmas last year and this Christmas Eve we get an away fixture at Ibrox, at least we just get on with it
  4. If it's the one I'm thinking of, we won 2-0 but it didn't get much coverage on the news that night..... Is that a young Grant Munro wearing 15?
  5. I'm absolutely buzzing for the new season.for the first time since Steve Paterson we've got a manager we all want.hopefully tcs will be a wee bit fuller backing a man that wants to be here and committed to the city.
  6. Can only add it myself, best of luck to the new manager! Hope he will do a fantastic job and have a ton of success here! The new season can come soon.
  7. I was very impressed by Richie's interview on Fri night on STV . He came across as very passionate and keen to do well for everyone . It's the first interview in a while when I felt our manager is on our side .Well done Richie and Good Luck with your first season in charge and hope it's the first of many . Looking forward to good times ahead.
