Big Dunc refers to 'our philosophy' in his post-match interview and I have worried that an overzelous commitment to playing it out from the back could be his undoing. But we were actually quite pragmatic today, playing the conditions well with Ridgers hoofing it when he had to. The second half performance was excellent and if we'd had Carson bombing into the spaces that Spoony and Shaw were creating on the right then I think we would've won.
Their goal and the period after it showed that we still have a lot to do to improve at the back, and we also had nothing to bring off the bench. 2 good signings in January and we might be a half-decent side. And even if we're not quite there yet, the passion and some of the football mean it's fun to watch and be part of.
*my opinions are based on 3 recent away games - I haven't seen a home game and appreciate that we might be pretty turgid when teams come up and sit off us.
