Perhaps we won't need to ?🤔

We should all remain positive If results go our way and we finish 8th or above then Dunc has done what he was tasked which is avoid relegation and finished where many considered our expectations. If we fail to get 8th place we go into the play-offs where he can still fulfill that objective, but brings us 4 additional games of football and thus reduces the often tedious downtime between end of season and the next lot of matches to get invested in (although we do have the Euros this summer).

As Friday 3rd May approaches I am reminded of a night in Perth when Ben Stein emotionally assured me that "It is inevitable that some defeat will enter into even the most victorious life. The human spirit is never finished when it is defeated, it is only defeated when it surrenders"
  4. Good arable farmland might not be as important than green space for walking dogs or sledging
  5. It was at Fairways because that’s where the club were offered land for little or no cost, as well as it having access to the grid.
  6. There wasn’t a lot wrong with the penalty on Saturday. It was low and not too far from the corner. To me, a good save rather than a bad penalty. As someone said above, their goalie has saved the last four penalties he has faced. We are not in this mess because Billy has had a couple of penalties saved, and he should not be being singled out.
  7. Well done ladies. I'm sure they've learnt so much this season and will progress further next season.

Of course the buck has to be accepted by Dunc and Bollan as with any team. I really don't think that ANY other manager would have done any better. And what a load of ***** that Dunc was responsible for stalwarts leaving. If he keeps us up then it will be miracle in itself. And in regard to my "dogs of war" comment it refers to the term given to the Everton team that remarkably escaped relegation. I am simply saying that it is purely about pride, application and determination and Dunc has that in abundance. His summing ups appear more about detracting any blame from the players and trying to keep momentum and confidence going
