  1. It is definitely creating it's own problems being able to field two teams of similar quality. We need to go with what works best and that is not chopping and changing every week. Easier for him next Friday with Sole and Zimba out for starters. Why did we show Alloa too much respect in the first half especially (not just Alloa). Don't get me wrong, Alloa are one of the better sides, but if we can't win the title with our squad then something is wrong.
  2. Resilence and belief? Tbf Naismith has them so well drilled. I do wonder if our constant team changing is our problem. Is it to keep everyone in squad fairly happy? Just a thought?
  3. From what I've seen since his return, I have no idea why he's playing...crossing has been inconsistent at best and he's lost half a yard of pace. Definitely hasn't kicked on despite McInnes glowing report last year. With him, macleod and now millen available again is the size of squad just adding to Kellachers selection issues?
  4. At Dingwall today, for first 1/2 hour county we’re best I have seen this season. Front foot, having a real go at Dunfermline, could have been 3-4 up instead of 2. The pars fans were giving Lennon a roasting. They then Scored against the run of play from a wickedly deflected free kick. That spooked county and they sat on their 2-1 lead and 2nd half it was all pars. Lucky to get the 2-2 draw. I don’t fancy us in the play offs. Stop faffing around with team selection. Points more important than equalling out game time. Why drop alonge today. His height is important in our box defending free kicks and CORNERS, and is a threat in opposition box, plus he is scoring goals recently. I Don’t get it.
  5. It’s not today’s game that’s kept it tight at the top: 2 home wins and 2 away draws with Alloa is what we could realistically expect (maybe better than we could expect) given how we’ve struggled against them in recent seasons. Drawing twice with Cove and twice with Kelty, along with only getting one point out of nine so far against Stenny is where we’ve let ourselves down. But we remain top and it is in our own hands. Our next two league games, home to Queens and away to Stenny are now massive in terms of our season. Promotion was the target, but we don’t want to have to try to achieve that through the play offs.
  6. Not unreasonable to think it , but I too have been there and seen us being 'on top' of possession, shots taken ( on and off target) , corners, fouls, cards, etc etc Seen this movie too many times over the past 6 months, and it usually has the same, disappointing but predictable ending.
  7. Alloa version looks better and brighter
  8. Highlights of game on YouTube, Alloa version 10 hours ago, ict version 30 mins ago. I haven’t worked out Embedded content yet, so will leave it for TM4TJ to download when he rises from his slumber.

  10. Not the worst result and Stennys bad run has yet to come 😊
  11. Too many draws. With this squad we should be winning games.
  12. Our cushion at the top has now been completely wiped out. Worrying.
  13. Yeah I commented on this on Facebook. I really don't see what's in it for ICT. Good luck to them and all that, and maybe some time down the line there's something to be had from it, but the article makes the connection sound pretty significant with US wide recognition coming because of this. There is probably more brand recognition in myself and @luvgravy wearing our ICT tops to a Toronto FC game so I have to say our former CEO or one time potential phygital chairman back then would be mighty proud of the verbage and spin. These were my facebook comments (which someone in their supporters didnt seem to like ;)) then ... Bottom line is that USL2 is tier 4 (of 5) in the US pyramid and these 2 graphics kind of explain it. Click image to make them bigger. No-one outside of the local base for each team hears of them unless they perhaps do something in the US Open Cup (equivalent of Scottish Cup) where you might hear the name if one of these teams did a giant killing act. Sacramento Republic are the closest thing to an upset and that team reached the Open Cup Final in 2022 with Nick Ross taking part (came on as 88th minute sub) as Orlando beat them 3-0. Sacramento were tier 2 of the pyramid ....
  14. 1-4 defeat to Ayr United women. Connie Bell our scorer
  15. But this is begining to look more and more of a reality if we continue to drop points. I have seen the repeated mantra ‘must win next game’ going on for a month or so now. The reality is we failed to achieve that target on a number of these matches. - Consequence, allowing Stenny the opportunity to capitalise (which, to their credit, they did) and now are in a position to challenge us directly for the automatic promotion position as champions of the league 1. (Div 3 to me). I thought after the win against Peterhead our players and manager would be able to settle down and keep focused by playing the best players in a pattern (game plan), that is most likely to get 3 points. I watch Kells post match interview and have to admit I didn’t see a confident manager. (Not panic but maybe bubbling underneath). I was also at the Coonty - Pars match for my football fix. Putting the result aside (draw was right IMO), County are beginning to get their act together under Ketts. Put simply, taking what I have seen and as things stand today I would not fancy our chances of coming out on top of a two game winner-takes-all against them. Dust down ‘must win next game’ again!! bc
  16. Is that an auto three game suspension....
  17. 0 points
Man what a horrible weekend of footy for me! ICT drop 2 points @ home on a 94+ minute equaliser from the oppostion keeper TFC drop 2 points @ home on a 97+ minute equaliser where the opposition keeper was in the box (but did not score) My son played 2 competitive games over the weekend for his U13 team and we lost both of those .... oh, and we went from +15 temperatures on Thursday to a snowstorm on Saturday too
