  1. Usual post match stuff from kellacher. We need to get better, move the ball faster, more clinical, take care of the ball, not good enough last 3 weeks, etc, etc. The players we got in, kellacher has seen em, kellacher plays em. His job to make them a team, may take some time that we don’t have. Reminds me of the saloon scene in the Ballad of buster scrugs……. Ps… didn’t know how to stop video at 1.15.
  2. For anyone who wasn’t at the game here are the highlights. Get yerself a dram TM4TJ and enjoy the spectacle. Ps… you shouldn’t have reminded me how to select and post from tube on an other thread.😃
  3. Not our finest 90 minutes. We made a fast start but without troubling East Fife, then the game settled down with not much happening. A slack pass by Sole led to the East Fife goal, although from my view I’m convinced there was a clear offside in the build up. We had plenty possession but struggled to break East Fife down and needed a good finish by MacKinnon to get us a draw in stoppage time. Then the plus point: 5 out of 5 in the penalties with good efforts by Shinnie, Wotherspoon, Kargbo, Bates and Longstaff, along with a great save by Munro. We need to improve before the league campaign starts, and too often we played it slowly which played into East Fife’s hands. We did look better after Longstaff, Wotherspoon and MacKinnon came on. No cause for alarm but work to do.
  4. An absolutely honking performance mostly played at pre-season pace. The one bit of quality got us level, neat finish into the bottom corner by MacKinnon after good work down the left flank. Otherwise dreadful. I don't know how I bother sometimes. It's going to be a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong season.
  5. Adam certainly took his goal very wel.
  6. Seeing it live was bad enough, I'll give it a miss.
  7. A hydration break would have been more entertaining
  8. At least there were no hydration breaks.
  9. Dreadful performance at times with few players getting pass marks. Noah looked good at full back and generally the defence was sound. Allan and Shinnie okay in midfield. Bavidge got no service at all so surprised to see him subbed for Kargbo, who on first impression, looks worse than Zimba. Sole was very erratic but how Duncan stayed on as long as he did was baffling. Better with Wotherspoon and MacKinnon on. Baffling subs from Kellagher and tactically poor from him. Both the team and management needs to improve and quickly.
  10. Game over, ICT win 5 -3 on Pens. Must do better methinks!
  11. Terrible day to kick off our cup campaign. My son collected the new stripes for the grandchildren and the staff were busy getting the shop ready for today so bring your cards for merchandise. Let’s get a good start today and I will be starting the Player of the Year poll later for anyone who was at the game can vote on the forum.
  12. Full time, Wick Academy 1 - 2 ICT. Didn't really see above likely to make the breakthrough this season, but the right back, he moved left later in the second half, was pretty good.
  13. Wick equaliser, 1-1. Over the top of the defence and couldn't clear.
  14. Development squad up in Wick tonight.
  15. The new away strip looks like what the old lags would be wearing when they are transferred over to the new prison when it opens. bc
  16. I'll make it up for you, it's horrendous!!!
  17. Pre season friendlies are ‘Exactly what it’s says on the Tin’. Unless there was a particular player or team I was wanting to see I tended to give them a miss as they are normally hard work on the eye. 0-4 to our close neighbours serves some purpose I imagine in that it’s a clear wake-up call. To use one of Kells post match comments - He’s learned a lot today and we need to be better attacking and defining. Good, that’s the objective! Expected improvement to follow. bc
  18. end of the day I am not a fan of betting logos on shirts, and I know we have previously turned down offers to sponsor this website from betting companies with one single exception. We did take on an offer from one firm to sponsor our betting forum for a short time based on the "offer being too good to refuse" and maybe that's the situation the club find itself in as they continue to rebuild from the brink of extinction. I would rather this type of gamble than the gambles the previous regime took!
  19. Ah well Ross Munro then...
  20. I think the SPFL have run away from their responsibilities again here. The disciplinary punishment handed down to the offending clubs is paltry and simply puts this problem into a cupboard under the stair (put it out of sight so to speak), until it happens again at any of the top two divisions in our country. It is all so predictable with clubs pleading “you’ll ruin and hurt us (and YOU) if you fine or deduct us points!”. And the SPFL not wanting to ‘rock the boat’ by addressing the problem and hoping the Police or Scottish Government don’t force their hand. The punishment imposed on Celtic is bordering on the ridiculous. It presents no deterrent in my mind to the mindless thugs that enjoy courtship by these major clubs (Celtic here). Ie they want their money, noise and fear factor and tacitly accept the risk they will invade the pitch now and again. Fingers crossed no one gets harmed or maimed. In my club’s case ICTFC, they have been allowed to get off with next to no consequential penalty impact or imposition whatsoever. - I’m not celebrating this as unlike what was said by Scott Young after our Ned’s pitch invasion that ‘lessons to be learned’, thats precisely what we failed to do from the relegation match against the Accies in 2024! I expect our CEO and board to smile (“we got away with that Hey”) and just carry on regardless! In my book is ‘No pain - no gain’. I will continue to argue the case that until our club show clear steps of acting more professionally both on and off the park we will be unable to progress as a serious football operation. bc
