  1. Why is this post on 3 red dots? Have a red yin to even it up a little bit, didn't hear much from the Main Stand either but presuming they made some noise to warrant these comments so well done all involved. Sorry Alex don't go with all this section G p*sh. We hear you, but the volume levels are pretty poor and stuttering. I sit in the main stand periodically and observe the likes of Drew and "neighbours" attempts to motivate the paper rustlers. Yesterday they suceeded and I think the majority actually enjoyed the atmosphere and banter. Wish it could only be a regular occurence. If there was a uniform "team" backing instead of "stand" sniping perhaps Terry's comments would not be an exception but the rule. PS. Could somebody please explain this "dot" system which seems to be an irritating clique feel good factor for moderators and geeks. I like to visit the forum for a bit of fun, but it's getting a labour with all these veiled sub-sections. Rant over, bring back the old school when you could just come online and enjoy a bit of Craic !!

  2. Personally I couldn't hear anything from the main stand. Probably cos me and missus were right in among the lads in section G and nothing could be heard over them.

  3. First ever post. If people are interested I will give updates on the u17s each week. Delighted to say that the under 17s drew 2-2 with Celtic today, and could/should have won. Scorers Ryan Watson and Ryan Christie. Celtic had 5 internationalists in their team and are virtually all full time. We had a squad of 12, with a sub keeper and no outfield subs due to injuries. Team went 1 down midway thru the first half but replied thru an excellent individual efort from Ryan Christie. Early in the second half Ryan Watson turn a defender and cooly slotted past the keepr. Celtic bounced back to equalise with a disputed offside goal(why dont we have linesmen at this level?) We had several chances to win the game but couldn't finish them off. Gone are the days we would try to keep the score down against the old firm. Great to see Terry at the game as well. The futures bright....

  4. Yogi will take this on the chin. He's big enough and ugly enough to take whatever's thrown his way. He won't shirk the challenge. The boys gave him everthing but at the end of the day, that slice of lady luck just didn't fall his way. I'll miss him.

  5. Let's not get ahead of wereselves eh? Anything above 11th is a bonus, although I do think we have the potential to exceed that.

  6. did try to sing but landed up spending more time baiting scot leitch and paul hartley leitch was so close to getting sent to the stands it was getting seriously funny....plus the moment when some threatened to call childline and report him for shouting at the Kids to GET UP THEN was worth the entry fee alone quality sideline entertainment

  8. It's actually a bit of common sense from both sides. The Club, the Supporters Trust and some of the lads from that area sat down together at a meeting and worked through how they could improve the situation that existed previously. A little bit of give and take by all parties and what we witnessed today is the outcome, and long may it continue.

  9. Only as good as your last game- no need for specifics and past glories- Caley may get there - i don't deny it ,but presently they are also -rans. Build a team and take your chances- there is only room for one big fish in this wee pond up here and it's not Caley T.

  10. Dots.....a system whereby someone can give a positive or negative response to a particular post. Personally I've ignored them.

  11. Having watched the highlights from the various angles on offer I think Paton did deliberately try and hurt Hayes by pushing his studs into the lads midrif. Whether it deserved a red or just a yellow I'm not sure. Tokely went in from behind and got the ball. No studs showing and feet low to the ground. The tackle, although resulting in injury, was no more than clumsy and deserving of a yellow. Tokely probably shouldn't have even made the tackle cos the lad was going knowhere anyway, but he did and he got another card to add to his tally. At the end of the day refs have to make decisions based on what they interpret at the time and probably as many decisions go in favour of a team as go against. They have not the hindsight of replays so, like it or not, the decision should be accepted. I could list a number of instances where ICT have been at the recieving end of a wrong decision just as I could list a few occassions when an Aberdeen player should have walked. McGhee is one of those in the game who seems to think refs have a vendetta against his teams. He was the same at 'Well.

  13. Well folks, good result for the wee highland team this week. However I think this needs to be put in pespective, Dundee Utd are a weak kitten in comparison to last season's cup winning, table stormers. Looking at the highlights Celtic knocked you up and down for 90mins the previous week. To be honest I think its about time that ICT faced up to it that the best chance the Highlands have of being effectively represented in the top flight is to support ABERDEEN ! Top of the table and going strong. A club with a pedigree and heritage to prove that one we could contenders again. I have an affection for ICT due to its proximity to me and your struggle against the central belt. But lets not kid ourselves ICT is in its infancy.

  14. A shame really. I'd have put my money on McGhee going first. Hughes tried his best at Hibs and had those in power not sold some good talent to line their own pockets things may have been different. Hibs have made a killing on a number of players brought through their system but there's no sign of investment in decent replacements and if that system doesn't change they wont have success with any manager.

    • Inverness CT 2-3 (3-5) Hamilton - Play off final (relegation)
RELEGATED: Despite Inverness needing to get off the mark quickly, it was Accies that killed the tie inside the first fifteen minutes with strikes from Kevin O'Hara and Lewis Smith. Cammy Kerr reduced the leeway with a good strike from distance, but O'Hara struck again with a penalty before the break to diffuse the revival. We struggled to create anything of note and this reporter could not stomach any more and left the stadium. I'm told Alex Samuel pulled a goal back in stoppage time, but like the rest of the season it was too little too late.

    • Hamilton 2-1 Inverness CT - Play off final 1st Leg
A better showing from Inverness in the second half, especially with Lawal and Pepple on the park but it's Hamilton that take a one goal advantage up the A9 on Saturday. Lawal has been the standout performer in our last few games and surely he must start on Saturday. Pepple also did well, scored the goal, had an effort saved and got in a few balls across the box from tight positions.

Still, a shocker of a first half and we must be up for it from the start on Saturday.

    • Inverness CT (1-2) Hamilton - Play off Final 2nd Leg - Preview
The hurt, the pain, the reluctance and pig-headedness to listen to the fans asking what is going on, the lack of communication, the lack of ambition, the stench of mismanagement, the concert company, the battery farm, the demise since winning the Scottish Cup in 2015, the lack of passion, the lack of commitment, the dwindling fanbase, the lack of leadership. It has left the fans comfortably numb

    • Hamilton -V- Inverness CT - Play off Final 1st Leg - Preview
However all is not well and we just kept our heads above water thanks to Arbroath being rubbish. Onto the play offs and an insipid performance at Links Park left us all wondering if our time has come to drop into oblivion. Our performance certainly would not look out of place in the lower leagues. We clung on for a 0-0 draw away from home and scraped a 1-0 win at Inverness with Billy Mckay saving our blushes. Everything about the club has negative undertones at the moment.

    • Inverness CT 1-0 Montrose Play-Off Second Leg (0-0)
Little Consolation: Inverness will face Hamilton Accies in the Play-Off final after nervously scraping past part-time Montrose who were eventually reduced to ten men when Blair Lyons was sent off after an off the ball incident in the 84th minute involving Morgan Boyes. Inverness had dominated throughout, but failed to capitalise on their possession, and as per the entire season failed to create much of note. The first half was livlier than the first leg, but the same problems showed up our lack of quality. We started with no wingers and Billy Mckay as usual in a withdrawn role. It's not worked all season, so why should it suddenly work now. A woeful first half ended goalless and it was on the hour and out of the blue when Billy Mckay prodded in from three yards to score the only goal of the game following a corner
