Its clear to see why Motherwell are near the bottom of the league. They were shocking last night. Their defence was awful, their first touch was terrible and they hoofed the ball forward from the defenders to the strikers omitting the entire midfield and this was only 10 minutes into the game. They were only a goal down from the first leg - they were not chasing a 2 goal deficit (at the start of the game). They should have slowed the pace down and taken control of the game instead they flew out of the traps at 100 miles per hour. It was inevitable that they were going to get picked off playing like that. I'm dissapointed, I like to see all Scottish teams do well in Europe especially the non old firm teams but motherwell really were woeful last night. I am very pleased that McGhee didn't get the Scotland job as I'm begining to think that last seasons success was a bit of a flash in the pan and that his perhaps not cut out for managing on a bigger stage. (must add that I have nothing personal against 'well at all - they were just gash last night)

Newcastle fans are complete morons. Watching them at the moment is like watching the lunatics trying to take over the asylum. They all seem to want to have a former player in charge, whether that be Keegan or She-ra and then they expect to win trophies as if it is thier right. If they give someone time to do the job they might stand a chance. The club has one of the largest supports in the country and pays some of the highest wages yet they have won nothing in over 50 years. Not even the league cup. FFS - wake up magpies - even Middlesborough have won that. Any club requires consistency and continuity, look at Man Utd and Arsenal as examples. Even look at Boro, that must p1s5 them off. Wake up and let the people with the money (Ashleigh??) and experience (Allardice??) get on with it. Personally I cant stand Newcastle supporters and am enjoying watching the fans damage the club they claim means so much.

the last one. I don't see why people keep raising this subject. Kilmarnock are joint top of the league yet would you really like to see any of thier players even in a Scotland squad? None of our players are worthy of being in the Scotland squad at the moment. End of.

It's a conundrum indeed. Munro and McGuire don't seem to work well together. Grant is our best defender yet the combination of McGuire and Duffman seems to have been working well. Interesting

Aye right! Anyone remember playing at Pittodrie after we beat celtic 3-1 in the cup, we started singing to the noisy dons fans in the Dick Donald Stand "You cannae beat the celtic" (they'd just been pumped in a league game at the weekend by celtic). Silence from the dons support for about 10 minutes before they came back with "You cannae beat St.Mirren!" (the midden had just beat us at the weekend after aberdeen put them out of the cup in the previous round!) Nice! They got a round of applause for their efforts!

Was an exile for many, many years so know how you guys feel but i really couldn't give 2 hoots how they do. As long as we do the business I'll be happy. Besides the more money that gets pumped into the english game the worse their national team will get.

I don't think they've been ignorant, they're just doing their job. My prediction was either Killie or us and I'm more than happy to be wrong. If the players read stuff like that and get fired up by it then carry on I say. Anyway its far too early to be saying we're going to be safe at the moment.
