HARTLEY FOR COUNTY? WHERE DID IT GO WRONG?
Brittain's ok as long as he gets left a bit of space in front of him to shoot or spray long diagonals. Otherwise he's a good div 1 player or Championship as we're supposed to call it these days.

Just as well they can't get Stranraer in the playoffs then

Tynecastle: who's going?
Diggers for me surely

Scottish Cup 5th round draw:Stranraer
Aye but questions should be asked - why did they only score 3 in round 2 of the league cup?

Celtics fans reputation in tatters
I think they've got more than the reputation of their supporters to worry about

Scottish Cup 5th round draw:Stranraer
They've scalped a couple of minnows though, can't remember their names

Is there a Sneckie and District Milkmen website we can look up?

Celtics fans reputation in tatters
I've always thought that Celtic fans were 50% better than Rangers fans in their behaviour. By that I mean that I would give Rangers 1/10 and Celtic 1.5/10 Having said that the only times I've ever been spat on at the football in nearly 50 years were after the two cup wins over Celtic.

Hearts Hearts Embarrassing Hearts
Agree with Beastie, Hearts were completely gash and if you get 3 early goals in a game anything can happen. However I think Hearts are doomed and I thought that long before now - getting cuffed at Tannadice has only reinforced it. They've made absolutely no inroads into the 15 point deficit. To stay up they'd need a) to start winning b) to have Dundee in 11th place

Friday trivia question
I hadn't realised Paul Ritchie had been at Lochee United. It is our one! there's a small picture here: http://www.locheeunited.co.uk/news_detail.asp?ID=6927 I think I saw PR score his first competitive goals for ICT in a 2-0 win at Albion Rovers on ............. 9/11. Naelifts was wondering if we should be playing football at all as we stood in the pub watching the reruns of the planes flying into the twin towers. The rovers fans were chanting 'get into these pensioners'. So obviously when we went a goal up in the second half we were singing 'one nil, to the pensioners'

Friday trivia question
Yogi also played with Nitten (Newtongrange Star), possibly as a striker, before following the well-trodden route of Lothians non-League players to Berwick.

Scottish Cup 5th round draw:Stranraer
Best route is fly Inverness to Belfast, night out there, ferry over in the morning hoping the sea ain't rough. I attempted something similar in April 98. Cycled round Antrim all week and arrived in Larne Sat morning expecting to hop back over and catch Stranraer v ICT. Ferry was fully booked, couldn't believe it, no more foot passengers. Got back to Cairnryan early evening and on my way out the ferry terminal saw the ICT bus going past. Goalscorer Iain Stewart glanced out the window no doubt wondering who the daftie with the bike was.

They Came On Trial...
That's right, Liam's car was seized as it was purchased using the proceeds of his dad's heroin dealing. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/thistle-star-buchanan-has-car-seized-967220 Yet another guy who turned up at Whitehill Welfare Did a couple of sessions in pre-season training. Was never going to be within Whitehill's budget but the rumours didn't half scare the shyte out of the opposition

The new manager thread
In the ICT tradition of giving fresh young managers a chance (Robertson, Brewster, Christie ) it has to be Hartley for me. I know TB didn't exactly fit that mould but just because we are an established SPL side it doesn't mean we pick one of the old lags on the merry-go-round (Calderwood, Miller, Levein, Hughes etc - ugh).

The new manager thread
I bet I'm not the only one who reads this and tries to follow the instructions. I thought it went back longer to div 1 days, so possibly St Johnstone. Somehow I had convinced myself he had played for Livi

The new manager thread
We used to hate Hartley as a player didn't we? He used to regularly get the 'horse's erse' chant but I can't remember what the history was........

Scottish Cup 2014 - Fourth Round draw
There's been a few thumpings like when we won 6-1 at Stirling, and beat Brechin 5-1, and the time we gave Hamilton a goal of a start and took 6 off them. But for every decent win like that there's been a few stuffy wins like Elgin or even replays like Ayr or Partick. Having recently seen Whitehill take Stirling Albion to about 183 mins before conceding the winner I'll settle for any kind of passage into round 5. Let's face it we'll probably be trailing to an Imrie thunderbolt shortly after Mr Robertson blows for kickoff;-)

Butcher offski?
Terry's not that much younger than me and I'm retired Is it about quality of life or is he still up for a challenge? Some Championship clubs are in some pretty shytey locations. If he went to Hibs he could get a nice place in East Lothian within 15 mins drive of the training academy and still spend half the week at Abriachan.
