Think it was always going to be an away trip for us as the cabbagemen would get a home fixture for going up as champions. We got a home game in 2010 as champions but in 2004 they cocked it up and we were away to Livi. To this day I say we got Partick's fixtures......

Not just that, I'm pretty sure he never went 'whining' to the media anyway. Everybody knows how it works. The reporter's looking for a story to fill a page so he rings Ross up. He puts enough words in his mouth and he agrees with some of them. Then he can write 'Tokes Blasts Tel!' Or 'Toke off Butcher!' or, er, OK you can tell I've never worked as a sub editor Look at that Oddquine, about 70 words :lol: :lol:

***off-topic*** Aye Scarlet I realise the forum has been missing my rapier wit for a while. I got a detached retina at the New Year and have been in hospital 3 times. Finally 6 months later I am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel(!). For a time in the winter there it was really depressing in the house all day and nothing to do but worry and Mrs Mantis away out working. I wouldnae wish that on anybody, even Neil Lennon. BTW I have had separate visits to East and West Canada and I would rather live there than the US, but I'd rather live in Scotland than anywhere else. Keep trying though!

I voted yes. The best managers have got man-management, tactics, team motivation and the ability to spot a player, and no doubt other things I've forgotten about. In the absence of a 40-year old Pele who would have all these qualities (Robbo had most of them, Brew had the 4th, 10CC had probably all except no 3, Sergei had none of them) I'll keep backing Tel who probably only possesses no 3

Hope so CMIB. Our record against English teams used to be good. I've said many a time that our game is going down the pan at an alarming rate.
