  1. Well, well, well....... Fancy coming in the away end tomorrow?
  2. Who was your best mate at primary school?
  3. As you once said of a more primitive offering of mine, a thing of rare beauty. Well done Gordy.
  4. Ha! Not the first time either :thumb04: :018:
  5. Hundreds of class moments going back to div 3. Remember the Saw Doctors in Stornoway in July 97 when Wayne Addicoat was pished and I gave youse a lift. Great banter with your maw and paw at the games and thanks for all the comps. I'll no even charge you for the photo on your Bebo site. Cheers Barry, you're a legend.
  6. Followed the link but no mention of Barry now.

To be fair, he's probably right up there with the best players who've ever worn the jersey, even if he was past his best.
  8. I'm trying hard to look at this from Brewster's point of view. He sinks or swims as a manager by making his own decisions and there's no room for sentiment. If he's staying at the club long term he needs to be surrounded by his own men and Baz certainly isn't one of those. However, bottom line: I think the club would be better off if Brewster left, not Baz.
  9. No surprises here: Yes, go.

Since you're a new poster you're forgiven for not seeing the irony of that :thumb04: :018: ;) :015:
  11. Naw he's too old for that :thumb04: :018: ;) :015: :D :P :021:
  12. Aye, they all were. But that was 4 months ago. Unlike his lack of effort...... Sorry, I've still to see what made Brewster chase him for months and offer him such a decent contract. More so given the system that Brewster seems intent on playing. Even the County fans could see his shortcomings. Never mind, he'll come in handy in div 1.
  13. :015: :thumb04: :018: ;) Short and sweet!
  14. Am I the only one that doesn't understand this paragraph?
  15. We visit Hamilton in January. I'm sure they'll be up for it - I just hope we are. I'm really fecked off at the moment. I never even thought about travelling up the road for this game, it never even entered my head at the start of the week. I've just spent the afternoon wandering about in the Pentlands, and got back in time for a pint and then switched on the car radio with 10 mins to go, surprise surprise we're 3-1 down and going through the motions till full time. Oh well never mind, Ralphie will be on later to tell us how rosy it all is.
  16. Well, working, obviously......
  17. Missed the game, but very pleased with the Killie performance last week. But we are just not capable of scoring goals especially from the strikers, and having seen the cup draw we will struggle to get goals against a packed P*r*ick defence.
  18. Rubbish draw. And we'd better put them away first time like we failed to do 2 years ago. You listening Foxy Wish I could agree with you...... gits. That was a feckin humiliation 2 years ago having to go down there for a replay and face all the sheer hatred for us taking their SPL place. They were spitting at the supporters buses and everything. You freeze your bollox off for 2 hours and lose on penalties to what was more or less a pub team who hardly got out of their own half.
  19. Guy at our work plays for Raith so a few of us have got comps for today v Alloa in round 3. A day out and a few bevvies.
  20. :D :thumb04: :018: ;) :015: Where's Oats when you need him?
  21. Isn't that the tube who single-handedly knocked us out the League Cup the other week? And we've had him in the lower leagues, I can remember his funny mannerisms one day at Cappielow.
  22. I've lived there too but live in the East now. We'll just have to differ. I was hoping that my post implied that, having heard the lyrics in full recently, I also found them disgusting. The danger in joining in a thread like this is that inevitably people try to read into your words that you are one side of the fence or the other. Back in the days of fanzines I remember issues from both sides of the OF being passed around at work, and seeing how zealous they both are in their propaganda. Both sides can reel off lists of so-called injustices and conspiracies. Only last week there was one who rang Traynor and his whole case was based on an incident involving a ref back in the 1960s. They both claim the moral high ground but one's as bad as the other. It's a game of fitba.
  23. Some people really do live on another planet. I actually thought it was fairly harmless when I first heard it on the news, given that almost any tim you speak to seems desperate to tell you he's not Scottish. But then I heard the whole song and realised this has been going on for ages and these neanderthals just make a life out of winding each other up. It's a game of fitba ffs. I wish Paul Daniels was better at his job, then he could just make the pair of them disappear.
  24. Read this and get a big heid Dougie... Never mind, your old teacher at Lanark Mr Proctor says you were a dirty wee b*****d :thumb04: :018: ;)
