Over the years we've given them a few hidings at our place, but they always made it hard at Gayfield and a few times we trooped off having played the better football and lost. The last time we were there we won 3-1 with two from Denzil and one from Hissy in March 2003.
  3. Cheers Alan - hope we're not swapping places at the end of the season tho' .....
  4. Just think of the response when the club wanted 1000 people to pay ?100 each to get their name on the away shirt.....
  5. Interesting to see what happens against Hamilton in a week's time. Last year we had to wait a long time to play Gretna in match 11 to find out how poor they were. I would expect Hamilton to be fired up but looking at Billy Reid's signings there's very little quality there. We need to be fired up for it ourselves though. I remember 2 years ago when we lost at home to a very poor St Mirren team on the first day, after dominating most of the game.

Davie Caldwell was a bit mental. He got a second spell at Caley about 1993 and got a couple of sendings-off. Pretty good finisher. Last time I saw him he was playing in the juniors with Bon-Accord alongside Wilsie Robertson and he got sent off.....
  7. The Herald yesterday had us above St Mirren and Hamilton if it's any consolation Also a fan's view from our very own ICTchris
  8. No sign of Guy Kerr then? Another good player who will likely be away then
  9. Sure I'll sign it, but what did I miss while I was away? I had heard Falkirk were just going to sell the tickets at their place so what happened to that idea? Why don't DUFC just do the same? I wonder if ICT could do a Falkirk based on the idea that more (misguided) locals buy tickets for the OF anyway, and proportionately, probably fewer of the soapdodgers come up the A9 than to other clubs, so maybe we won't miss them that much. Well, let's be honest, we wouldn't miss them at all, just their dosh :015: :015: :015:

Nae luck big man (or half man half duck if you're reading this :015:). Really nice big fella was Hissy.
  11. Brilliant quote on Reporting Scotland tonight. He once described a player as "marginally quicker than coastal erosion"
  12. Sense? You've got precious little of that if you can't see that Yngwie's allowed to post an opinion like anybody else - including you - whether he's a mod or not.
  13. Yep, imagine what Mrs Mantis would say if I carried on to the roundabout, turned, went back over, parked half a mile away and walked onto the bridge for a photo :023:
  14. Can you check what colour the bogs are? That would settle it......
  15. I came home from Lewis yesterday on the ferry and missed the game (well being honest, I had forgotten it was on :023:). As I came over the Kessock Bridge at about 6.15pm I couldn't help seeing a brilliant rainbow which had TCS right at the end of it. What an omen eh?
  16. He turned down more lucrative offers to come here?
  17. So I'm allowed my opinion as long as it tallies with yours? I'm sure Brewster had nothing to do with Niculae's situation and I'm sure if Marius goes it will be better for Brewster and team morale. Doesn't stop me thinking we need a new manager though. How many of the people sticking up for Brewster went to any away games last year?
  18. What about: ?500k for Marius, and throw in Brewster for free :023: :023: :023: :023: :023:
  19. I have you down for 3 - same as last year. Is that OK? Aye, 3 is fine.
  20. Guzz, can you clear up how many shares you've got me down for if you're 5 short? I think I maybe took 3 last year.

..... and The Mantis lifts ?48 in the works sweep :021: :021: :021:
  24. First of all Ralphie, don't give me the old guff about moderators not being allowed to have an opinion. This is a fan site, not the Labour Party. Second, it's a bit hypocritical of you to complain about other people's standards when it's obvious you're a mate of Brewster and incapable of being objective. Third, 3 years as a manager and those 5 names are the best you can do (including the word 'potential' against Imrie and a totally wild and unsubstantiated opinion about Conway) :015: :015: :015: Fourth, don't quote ?1k a week, referring to ICT, then base most of your argument on DUFC who can afford considerably more than that, and whom he still came within a bawhair of relegating. Give us a break......
