  1. Is that the Andy Smith who was a Caley man and came along to a lot of early ICT games, always had a moustache and a chip on his shoulder?
  2. He's there all right. Just not as much of him as currently
  3. Oh that's priceless Buckett  Apart from the aforementioned 3 stooges, is there anybody else we should recognise?
  4. Is this the first job he's left without being sacked
  5. Totally agree Chris. Despite all the politics, FIFA's raison d'etre is to expand the game to all the corners of the world. Regarding the accusations of corruption, one thing struck me last night on the news: they showed the outside of a hotel and said that Cameron, Becks and Wills spent 3 days inside it 'doing deals'. Whatever does that mean? p.s. Yes, I know the world has no corners......
  6. 'Shat in the nest' is the phrase that comes to mind
  7. Actually had my season ticket next to Davie Milroy in the main stand that first season we came home at New Year from Pittodrie. Top bloke. Last time I saw Urq was at Hamilton the other week.
  8. I bet when DS is interviewed, he says he's off to join the Edinburgh FF for more money.
  9. Maybe we should open a poll Sorry, Hsquad12, none of us are taking this very seriously Don't give up hope yet......
  10. Or even John Cleese. Hitler's a very distant third Bannerman's surely in there somewhere though.
  11. Obviously there's no sanity clause in Charles' contract or he could have retired years ago.
  12. Nah, it's just a daft rule the SPL made up along with the 10000 seats to make themselves sound important. Obviously the EPL have mair sense.
  13. No but you're in the right county, and same vintage of house, 1968. I was growing up when they built Mayburn, getting chased by the night watchie and so on
  14. Since Alex is showing his holiday photos:
  15. Just as ICT made history with getting the 10000 seats rule changed, I think ICT should get the USH rule changed. USH could be optional rather than compulsory. If a club loses a game to the weather, they could accept a fine instead. USH has ruined our pitch.
  16. With blue shorts IIRC, worn at Dens Park on 17/8/94. Not sure if/when it was worn again. Sorry Scotty, had a look but I can't help either! Gordon Gillespie or Ian Broadfoot are about the only hope.
  17. One of those queries I get occasionally from people exiled in England or overseas about relatives who played for Caley. Anybody remember watching Stuart?
  18. Short answer- I don't know. Maybe ask CB or DJS or somebody else. Slightly longer answer- maybe just as happens today. Change strips are often chosen on a whim. Maybe some members of the committee liked it.
  19. Paul Lambert?
  20. Rangers don't do paranoia though. OK they do arrogance, triumphalism etc instead, but they seem to leave the paranoia to the other lot
  21. What was that other game where the jeggies were beating Elgin at ht 1-0? After a bit some guys came back from the Corrie asking the score and it was 6-1 to Elgin by this time
  22. Yeah but you know how it is- he forwards it to 6 mates, one of them forwards it to 6 mates and Dallas is still on it.
  23. I wonder if people are aware that it was Dougie McDonald who sent off Juanjo in 2004 (albeit because of the 4th official)? And which particular ginger ned was the beneficiary of the decision? Especially as his team went on to gain 3 points even though ICT gave them a decent game with 10 men for over an hour? And which ginger ned was later challenging ICT fans to 'come ahead' after the game when he went to board the team bus? And which ginger ned escaped punishment even though Juanjo's card was rescinded?
