  1. First of all Ralphie, don't give me the old guff about moderators not being allowed to have an opinion. This is a fan site, not the Labour Party. Second, it's a bit hypocritical of you to complain about other people's standards when it's obvious you're a mate of Brewster and incapable of being objective. Third, 3 years as a manager and those 5 names are the best you can do (including the word 'potential' against Imrie and a totally wild and unsubstantiated opinion about Conway) :015: :015: :015: Fourth, don't quote ?1k a week, referring to ICT, then base most of your argument on DUFC who can afford considerably more than that, and whom he still came within a bawhair of relegating. Give us a break......
  2. Result. As long as they don't recruit Tyldesley as his replacement :015: :015: :015:
  3. Maybe you should have read my post before replying to it :blah01: I'm not moaning about Barrowman. I'm sure he'll do a fine job in a different team that actually makes chances. I just said I was puzzled and trying to work out what Brewster was up to. If I'm moaning about anything it's Brewster, and I think I've had plenty of time to see what he can/cannot do.
  4. What puzzles me is, it seems to be common knowledge that Barrowman's a bit lazy, a poor man's Kris Boyd. By the same token Brew's a poor man's Wattie Smith and doesn't want any flair in the team, just grafters, and he's done his best to remove any flair from the team and rely on the long punt. So why is he signing Barrowman if he's not a big strong player who'll work his bollox off?
  5. Can only agree with CaleyD and others about Dargo. He's a walking injury. I've said many times, I think we were lucky to get the best out of Dargo the first season. Every other club has had him injured and with hindsight we could have punted him a year earlier.
  6. I've been impressed by his reading of the game and use of the ball. I also think for such a skinny guy he's quite strong, but a couple of away games I think he's struggled against strong physical forwards. With Rossco you can just turn all these statements the other way round :015: :015: :015:
  7. Still don't know why Brewster doesn't try Rosscoe at CH and Bambi at RB. Can't be any worse than McGuire.
  8. Aye. Could trap a ball further than I could pass it, but a hundred percenter and all round good guy. Awrabest Bayners :021:
  9. Built like a twig? Must have lost a lot of weight since I took this photo :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: Maybe explains his lack of pace..... [img width=500 height=745]
  10. Canyon, Wad, Chunky, Juglugs......... I reckon it wasn't Caley as they were playing Aberdeen the night before. Anals indeed......
  11. Horse between two mattresses for me if I'm peckish.
  12. What would be most embarrassing to have draped around your neck on a Saturday night - Elton John or a C(o)unty scarf :015:
  13. I've been using this with schoolkids for years! 17 moves is the minimum.
  14. Aye, fair comment, and Liverpool probably see us the way we see Keith. Also they can send whoever they like now the tickets are all more or less sold. However I've got a programme from a game at Anfield last month, showing a first team squad of 32, so I'd be expecting to see 3 or 4 players I'd actually heard of. But as Mannie and L-G say, it's Barry's night anyway.
  15. Can you swim though?
  16. Forgot about Dave Stewart. He's been in my car so that in itself makes him famous. As for Dylan, obviously 'Blowin' in the Wind' was inspired after a visit to East Longman. And what about 'Girl From The North Country'? And 'Only a Hobo' must have been having a poke at the tinks. Mind you I reckon he had been mixing with the jeggies in the tin shed when he wrote 'Desolation Row'.
  17. Nothing like looking on the bright side eh TCF? If it's Hamilton the day before then it'll be a chance to give more of the squad a game. When ICT played Keith and Inverurie on two consecutive days last summer they simply fielded teams with half regulars and half youngsters. Kept everybody happy. Some of us even got to see a couple of rare Dean McDonald goals :015: :015: :015:
  18. Naelifts is famous. He pulls drowning men out of rivers every day. Duncan Chisholm is the world's most famous fiddler :023: and he supports ICT. Brian Taylor is an Arabs fan BTW but he must have been working in Ayr that day he saw the mighty ICT come back for a battling 3-3 draw at Somerset :021:

Maybe it was two other folk.
  20. I was there once - never told anybody till now.
  21. Are you saying that Brew is just Nessie out of his/her element then :023: :023: :023: :023:
  22. I'm sure Nessie exists, in fact I've seen her at the Caley stadium a good few times.
  23. I think you'll find that many other nations claim to have invented things too, and often it's not clear who actually did.
  24. I've got that clip here, watched it many a time. Funny how that one's out of sync, sounds like 10cc is against the merger :015: :015: :015: :015:

    Sky +

I've had a Sony HD with DVD-R and Freeview for just over 3 years now. Totally silent and the programming seems intuitive just like Sky. It had problems with software updates when new but it's been faultless for ages now. Used it to transfer a lot of video stuff to DVD. I read at the time the Humax ones were good though. Have to say all this Sky stuff is a turnoff for me. Far too much fitba on telly. There's a whole generation of folk who know all about sport but never attended a live event. One live game a week for me is worth a dozen televised games what with all the banter and the bevvy and the travel and the radio in the car etc.
