  1. Is Welsh injured again? It’s a big ask for Lewis Hyde starting him in CM against any team, never mind Dundeh. Mibbe even better with Boyd in there. Who got injured today then?
  2. Thought you weren’t there, missed your usual updates and moans Should have come out to Bonnyrigg, decent game.
  3. One of the few highlights of the season, beating that mob in their own midden.
  4. I got that message last night, I use Safari but tried FF to see if it helped. It didn’t solve the problem I described above.
  5. No they were from my desktop on the “ICT players news”. It’s just that I haven’t had much problem with ordinary posts but twice recently I’ve used photos from Elgin games and also the Olde Inverness stuff. The pattern’s always the same: insert the pics and the hyperlink/wee hand thingy for posting goes away. Refresh the page and it restores your content but same problem. Can’t erase the content, just try several times till it works.
  6. Aye Lewis was wearing 3 but appeared to be playing as a wing back as you say. He's decent as I saw at the semi at Tynecastle, could be ready for some game time, maybe he'll get recalled in January...I see you've got the right spelling, I got the wrong one off the Elgin website.
  7. The problem of pages freezing has recurred and wondering if posting images has anything to do with it. Have just got a post done but it took several attempts.
  8. Stayed local today and saw Elgin win at Hill of Beath in the Scottish Cup, featuring Ross Draper and Lewis Nicholson.
  9. Great to see Dan getting half an hour.
  10. For once I actually believe the BBC's version of events. We saw plenty of the second half standing behind the goals because we never got out our own half. Queens looked really good, I thought their movement off the ball was tremendous, but when we got the ball we just gave it back to them. It could have been a lot more. We were absolutely garbage. Disgraceful. Even a depleted side should show a bit of fight.
  11. Actually saw him at the weekend. Stayed at home and watched Bonnyrigg v Elgin. He had a great first half, won 2 pens, led the line well and looked very pacy and nimble. That's against one of the worst defences in Lge 2 though.
  12. Home to Livingston in the Scottish Cup 3rd round. Sunday Dec 4.
  13. Thought I recognised Lochmaddy in the photo
  14. Ross Draper in action for Elgin at Bonnyrigg yesterday. Daniel Hoban in goals.
  15. I think it was handling freight. We went on the Friday morning on the Loch Seaforth and back on the Isle of Lewis on Tuesday. The winter timetable started on the Monday and the Seaforth was away for her annual refit.

Maybe worth mentioning for @Scotty that Queen’s Park are playing at Ochilview for the time being, although the map is showing Hampden.
  17. I noticed the site issues banner and not been too upset. But I hadn't noticed this thread before and a lot of it is over my head. Just wanted to add my tuppence worth: 1) An issue I had previously has recurred in the past week. It tells me to log in. As Scotty found before, I was never actually logged out, so I just ignore it. 2) I suspect I am no longer a site sponsor but can't recall any reminders. Would gladly renew. There was a previous issue that when I was a sponsor, my admin privileges disappeared. 3) Further to this, I'm getting ads between posts. There seems to be a suggestion above that this relates to not being a sponsor? 4) Occasional problems posting, as reported above. Page freezes and content is restored on refreshing the page. Sometimes takes several attempts. It actually happened while I was beginning this post. Safari on iMac and also on iPad.

There’s a fair chance of this being moved to Friday night, according to QP fans on P&B. Syngenta have a game on Saturday and they seem to have first dibs on the park. Queens had their recent home game v Dundee moved for the same reason. Meanwhile the development of Lesser Hampden continues at a snail’s pace, and despite what the club are saying, the fans don’t believe they’ll be in before the end of the season.
  19. Enjoyed the latest pod in the car yesterday. Tokes is brilliant. I’m sure I heard him talking about a game with rain and torrential wind but I could have misheard him
  20. I think big Rossco will be at risk of a coronary and he’s a lot fatter than me from recent photos I remember playing in a one-off 5 a side game with a load of young teachers when I was that age. They were just running past you as if you weren’t there
  21. I’ve had to cut down on sugar, so I’ve got an app that rustles instead.
  22. You have to look at the defenders too. The taker Gillespie is always going to be favourite for any rebounds, but Muirhead is in the box sharpish, holding off Delaney. Meanwhile Duffy doesn't really burst a gut to get there either.
  23. Positives - may as well make several weeks’ defensive howlers in the one game, same as Partick the other week. Negatives - unless Ram and Duffy, or some other pairing, develop an understanding quickly, we’ll be shipping four every week. Agree with the statement above, Billy and Oakley doesn’t work. Oakley is better as an impact sub - give Billy an hour first.
  24. Stornoway on Tuesday
