ICT -V- Hibernian
agree with annie mac. since when has richie foran been a central midfield player, not so much a criticism but he arrived as a centre-forward and what we are lacking is a goal-scoring centre-forward why persevere with him in this holding role. would really like to see morrison or nick ross in there alongside tansey but that's never going to happen is it ?.

Graeme Shinnie called up to U21s
Excellent prospect for us, was amazed when he got left out this season seemed to disappear for a few games. Only downsize to his game at the moment is the hesitancy he shows at throw ins, work on this then who knows

Player of the Year Poll - Rangers
Easily Mckay, tho that will not stop Butcher leaving him out for the next game.

ICT -V- Rangers
meekings the scapegoat for Butchers latest tactical farce, granted he wasnt great but where the feck was Hayes when he was getting roasted. Was he not meant to be playing wide on the right offered little in the way of cover. Thought Esson should have done better for at least two of their goals also.

Kenny Gillet
Execellent post Annie Mac. Kenny G has been a revelation at centre half offering much needed pace through the middle. Not put a foot wrong including the tackle against the Pars, clearly played the ball.

Caledonian Stadium will look second best
Have to agree with one major point Dougal makes. 'STAGNATION' off the field the club has made little or no progress since we first appeared in the SPL. The stadium is hardly welcoming is it .Maybe that's why we had only 1600 yesteday for the first home match since Christmas Eve. The 3rd or 4th lowest attendance in the Cup is embarrassing.

Matchday Thread: ICT -V- Dunfermline
Wrong tactics from Butcher. One up front five in midfield against the worst team in the league WTF. To be fair to Billy Mackay there was times when he had the ball and there was not a blue shirt near him, isolated was an understatement. If ever there was a time for Sutherland to get a run that was it. Why show so much respect o a really poor Dunfermline team, was really expecing a performance yesterday but that was woeful.

hot food were has it gone
Embarassing, heard Dons fan complaining on the radio about lack of catering.

St Mirren Game
No your right Mr Dalneigh Caley it was all Proctors fault on Saturday, even the first goal. Sorry you are correct won't come on here again, what do I know.
-
St Mirren Game
We are not talking about last season, we are talking about now, this season. Accepted this might be harsh but nobody should be guaranteed a starting place on past performances. Do we not think Tuffey should be given a chance ? This is not making changes for changes sake. We are struggling big time in defence and it needs to be addressed. For what it's worth I agree Esson is an excellent keeper, but we need to stop conceding and if by having a different keeper that brings confidence to the back four then so be it.
-
St Mirren Game
Really have to agree, Tuffey should be given a chance. Maybe a different communicator at the back might settle the back four. At the end of the day we are bottom of the league and maybe the managers blind loyalty to certain players is costing us dear. Foran was poor at Tynecastle as was Tansey again, maybe now is the time for the manager to make some difficult calls and utilize his full squad. ie Chippendale, Mckay, Sutherland etc. We looked pretty stale on Saturday maybe time for a we shake up.

Well done Proc
have to agree with that, played against two different opponents in Hasselbank and Thompson, but did well. Deserves a run of games still not sure of best position though, maybe holding midfield

GRANT MUST STAY !
agreed players are let go, usually when they have been in and out of the team all season and are not guaranteed a start. This is not the case here. Our first choice centre half who scores goals has been shown the door. Do not agree either that while club captain his form suffered, any particular instances where this was the case?
-
GRANT MUST STAY !
so when will find the real reason he was shunted out the door maybe at the same time they could tell us why the captaintcy was taken from him. no way to treat an ICT legend who was getting better as the season drew to a close. Butcher better have an ace signing up his sleeve as decent centre halves are not easy to come by just ask Neil Lennon(Mulgrew and that dodgy Swede)and Walter Smith(Weir 40 year old geriatric).
-
Will he stay? Will he go
i'm aware he will be out of contract very shortly will we be entitled to any compensation ?? or can he go for feck all meaning we not only lose our top scorer but also the ?60 000 we paid Stoke.

ICT -V- Hibernian : Matchnight Thread
Who was the guy up front for Hibs, no 16 or 18 I think . He was an absolute disgrace had no intention of trying to play footbal only trying to wind Rosscoe up. Amazed at Rosscoe's restraint. Has there been issues between the pair before. Unbelievable that the linesman never saw anything.
-
GRANT MUST STAY !
Another top performance last night 100% committed. Really unsure to Butcher's thinking here. Could understand if a replacement had made the breakthrough this season and he was sitting on the bench more often than not but this has not been the case. To find a replacement with that much experience on our budget will be some achievement.
-
GRANT MUST STAY !
No doubt about it AYE

Nick Ross
cool, pleased for the guy. One think i still can't fathom is what's his favoured position. Seen him play right across the midfield also in the supporting role for Rooney but rarely gets a run in the one position.

ICT v Celtic
anyone know if there are any tickets still left for wednesday? can go now that im not working

ICT -V- Dundee Utd : Matchnight Thread
To be fair thought Munro did ok at fullback. Looked to be a wee bit isolated at times but did not bad. Questions are how longs Shinnie out for, Gillet is he still with us and Mcbain(maybe injured) and Golabek will they ever play for us again ?
-
ICT -V- Dundee Utd : Matchnight Thread
Bad decision by Butcher after Dorans injury. Looked comfortable at 442 created chances then he changes the whole dynamics by pushing Foran out left. The game for us then just died. Nick Ross came on and looked totally lost, Richie Foran became totally ineffective out wide, any shape the team had was lost. Reverted to type aimless long balls. Appreciate options on the bench not great but giving Sutherland a run wide left would have meant keeping Foran up front to support Rooney. One plus point easiest trip home to Forres where did everybody go ????

ICT -V- St Mirren : Matchday Thread
absolutely hopeless. going undefeated against the old firm counts for nothing if you get turned over at home by st mirren. 4-5-1 at home against a team with 3 wins all season come on terry the punters deserve better. St mirren totally dominated and if it wasn't for Ryan Esson could have been a right spanking. Gutted

Is Golabeck the answer?
Actually highliting a point that every game is littered with mistakes some more costly than others. LDZ does not deserve to be singled out for his mistakes. And thanks for pointing out 'We where relegated' wondered why my season ticket was cheaper this year.
