  1. I havent had any problems with firefox and that is the browser i use most often, its just at work i'm limited to IE, cannot install any other browsers! :008: On the whole though i like the changes made :022:
  2. When i first tried the homepage today almost instantly it froze and i couldnt click on any of the links. The second time i tried it i managed to click on the text box and it froze shortly after and the third time i tried it i clicked on the forum link on the menu but nothing happened and once again it froze. Got the forum page bookmarked now so dont have to go in through the home page.
  3. I know its only a friendly but still its important to help out our local rivals by showing them quality football so i thought i'd start the old what team you'd like to see thread. Seeing as its our last pre-season game before the season starts i'd quite like to see a near full strength team on the park with the inclusion of players needing games under their belt to lift their fitness, i'd like to see: Fraser Tokely Caff Munro Hastings Wilson Black Duncan Rankin Macdonald Nicolae
  4. Depends what sort of night your after really Nighclubs are: Bakoo, G's, or motion or whatever its changed its name to this week, all of them pretty much full of very young teeny boppers barabazzas - nightclub/bar for the non-teeny boppers, usually very busy at the weekends Busy Pubs are: Johnny foxes - very mixed crowd, always busy cactus jacks - young crowd, always busy, dancers on the bar of usually questionable atteactiveness Osbournes, usually busy at weekend, younger crowd Hootananny's - mixed crowd, usually good for live music Weatherspoons - cheap booze, no music, airport loung style The room - havent been in for a while but last time i was in it was very busy, mixed crowd Pivo - mixed crowd, not usually that busy Loads of other pubs about town that can get busy depending on how close it is to pay weekend, if there is anything decent on, i.e big footy game/decent gig on town and if its a full moon! ha ha
  5. Shocking signing, spoke to a mate last night who is a dons fan and he was somewhat perturbed by the news. huge backward step. Going by what ive heard from Kirk Broadfoots showing in the rangers vs ajax friendly last night he could be a contender for the worst signing too. supposedly he was terrible! sitting on the deck when ajax scored their goal. :015: ha ha
  6. Celtic! for the same reasons as RossP
  7. I had exactly the same problem as Premier ICT, i clicked the username box to enter my details but as soon as the home page fully loaded the page froze, i couldnt click on any links or the log in box or even scroll down the page. The way i got round it in the end was by finding the address of the forums page and then logging in through on of the tabs there. I'm running IE on xp in a corporate environment. I logged in at home last night through firefox and had no problems with logging on in the home page. Not sure if its a browser issue or an administrative rights type issue (had them in the past with different websites) but thought i'd let you guys know anyway.
  8. I'm reasonably happy with the summer, i think the friendlies have proved useful in helping try out new things/different personell/younger players for Charlie, i notice he has reverted to a back 3 quite a few times and its always good to have a team that feel comfortable playing with a new formation/set of tactics/personell. On the transfer front i'm pleased with Deano's signing, pleased with Cowie's signing and quite optimistic about Nicolae's high profile deal however the one thing i'm still worried about is our lack of defenders, a CB is a priority but even though we do get another CB our defence is still worryingly thin, one or two injuries and were fecked! As for the open trial suggestion, i think it could work down in the central belt or in england-shire where there a loads of players released or looking for clubs however up here i think it would be difficult to find players at the level we need and would most likely find county of Highland league players chancing their luck. Agreed about the weather! it sucks!
  9. Then they wouldnt of managed to snag such a huge team to play in the testimonial! :004:
  10. great news. personally i hope he leaves his debut til the county game. Cant make todays. :023:
  11. Anyone heard any info about line-ups? Anyone know if our new big name striker got his work-permit to make a cameo appearance today?

ha ha ha, cracker 4th stand :015: Nope, but saw this on teamtalk.com:
  15. match report now up on the main site, Linky
  16. "Caley Thistle director of football Graeme Bennett said:"We are delighted to be able, subject to the work permit, to recruit someone of Marius's calibre within our existing football budget. This has been assisted by sponsorship from The Orion Group, headed by club chairman Alan Savage." surely thats re-assuring? doesnt sound like it would be too much more than the 'huge' offer that Dargo was reportedly offered
  17. From an Elgin City messageboard:
  18. http://www.ictfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...1074528,00.html on main site now! woohoo! :crazy07:
  19. :024: Always seemed so easy in Champioship manager! :tic01: ha ha
  20. Ive gone for Barry, he has been an extremely important player for us over the years and as a senior member of the squad who knows the club inside out seems the ideal choice for vice captain.
  21. I'm with Clacher on this one, Rankin should have priority, if he doesnt fancy it or doesnt like the angles etc then someone else like Hastings or Hart or Black or Wilson can argue between themselves for it.
  22. I'd go with Wilson, could be his last full season as an integral part of the first team
  23. Great news, congratulations Granty. :clapping03:
  24. Atrocious player. Recently there was an Aberdeen youth player and a pal who were drunk and beat a guy up on Union Street I think it was. John Stewart certainly not involved there anyway. Saw him play in a couple of reserve games up here and scored quite a few goals, quite good ones too and had a fairly good scoring record in the reserve league. However, going by the reports that he missed a club function and the fact he was released from Aberdeen for, rumoured to be attitude problems, then i dont think it would be a good idea to pursue signing him. Sounds like he has a very poor attitude to the game and if he cant get a regular game at Falkirk then i sincerely hope we dont try to sign him!
  25. Had a look about this site and couldnt see it anywhere else but according to the rangers website our first game of the season against Rangers has been moved to a 12.30pm kick off to allow live TV coverage
