Maybe our scouting network has unearthed a gem which as yet hasnt been noticed by other clubs. I'm still puzzled by the statement that the club didnt sign him in January because of his strength/fintess issues. Strength and fitness are two attributes which can be improved on by training every day with set fitness regimes, if he's lacking strength, send him to the gym for a few months, no biggy! If the player has the ability when it comes to scoring goals then why dont we take the gamble, we really need to get our finger out and get players in the door to have them ready for our appetising opener against rangers

Doesnt mean we should never try to loan someone again, look at Stokes at Falkirk, arguably he kept Falkirk in the SPL last season. Agreed it can be hit or miss but still worth a try if it nets us goalscorer for a season! personally i think we should go for Steven Dobie, at QoTS i think, little bit out of shape but i think with a good pre-season under his belt he could be a great signing.

It would bring an end to the saga and finally let the club know if they have to replace Dargo or not!

according to most media sources however Dargo's contract expired last friday, he was back from holiday on the Sunday and would make his mind up on the Monday or Tuesday. Now it seems like he's not going to make his decision for another 4 days. 4 days isnt a lot but it seems to have been going on forever. One week we hear that he's going to make his mind up at the end of this week, then it changes to the week after and then the week after and so on. Fair enough to give the guy time to think about and discuss his future with family etc but i think ICT have been more than fair in allowing him so much time in coming to a decision, or waiting for other offers to come in :tic01: I for one would love to see Dargo stay as he has been a vital part of the team however in the interest of ICT it surely to ascertain if he really wants to stay, if so get him signed up, if not get the finger out and look for a new striker to replace him. Time is of the essence at this time of the year for clubs, the sooner we know who's staying or not the sooner we can prepare for next year without missing out on too many available players.

Agree totally! Havent seen this quote but if true it shows a lack of ambition IMO. Are we ever going to rise above being a lower end of the table team? I certainly hope so and would like to see the clubs management keen to progress season upon season. Spot on! My assessment of this season would be as follows, i think we have done well considering we have lost a key player in Mark Brown and have had two key strikers out for extended periods with injuries. More importantly, i think we've done very well considering the fact CC has just completed his first season as a manager in the SPL and is still on a steep learning curve. On to next season i think with a couple of decent transfers i believe Charlie can bring the club up to the next level of mid table teams and challenge for a top six place.

I heard about this from a killie fan i know, its the second time in the last few years that tic's 'whiter than white' support have trashed seats at Rugby park and the second time that it has been left out of the mainstream media. Its a disgrace that it has been swept under the carpet like so many other wrongdoings by their fans.

Accoring to todays courier, Wood, Vigurs and Kerr have all been added to the first team squad. :clapping03: hope they get their chance in the first team because what ive seen of them in the reserves they all have been quite impressive

If i get the right jist of this thread then; Neil Lennon is a player who no-one likes due to his uncompromising style of play, foul mouth and the way he frequently bends the rules in order to make up for his lack of pace and skill. Also getting Juanjo sent off by blatantly cheating has led to a strong dislike from ICT fans. The reason ICT are not called Inverness City IIRC (somone correct me if i'm wrong) was because ICT was the most popular choice betweeen fans and the club itself when put to a vote. Richard Hastings has been given the tag 'judas' for lowering himself to play for Ross County. few questions from me! -what purpose dos the'highland' football actually serve clubs like ICT? -In relation to building a 4th stand, would it really be that expensive to re-route the existing gas main that runs along the length of the pitch? -Why is ICT lacking so much off the park when our on the park achievements have been nothing short of amazing?

its bad for highland football because it means our feeder team are no longer playing at a reasonably decent level of football. what other clubs in the first division are we gonna plunder!!

indeed. getting spoilt for choice for curry houses in inverness, The rajah still edges it for me as the best though

i agree, better banter on the terracing, you can choose who you stand or dont stand next to (good for singin sections etc) and can cram more fans into the ground. like at Victoria park today. circa 6200 fans there! cough cough. :024: However i can certainly think of one team that wouldnt be too happy if terracing was reintroduced to the SPL, Plastic Whistle! :015:

Agreed! There was more than one, i saw at least two ICT strips run onto the pitch at full time, no need for it. I echo the point that it is indeed a sad day for Highland football.
