Cup Exit...Blow to Pars in League?
Agreed, looks like hibs will be strengthening in the window too. We really could do with a couple of reinforcements. Hopefully any monies gained by our cup exploits will be given to Terry to strengthen the playing staff im pretty sure hibs have been stregthenning every transfer window for the last 5 years thats worked out well hasnt it Well they finished 4th a few seasons ago so not every transfer window has been a disaster for them

Conceding late in the game
I was reading an article on the STV website and it got me thinking, we have let in a lot of late goals this season....why are we prone to this? Is it lack of fitness? Players switching off? Thinking the game is won and sitting back? Tactics? Can anyone offer possible reasons? Some interesting/worrying stats: article here: sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/hearts/294391-who/

Team for Pars
Hopefully Tokely is back but seeing as he wasnt even on the bench at the weekend then i doubt he will be I'd guess it'll be something like this: -----Tuffey----- Piermayr-----Golobart-----Meekings-----G.Shinnie -----Foran-----Cox----- Hayes------------------Tansey---------------------Tade -----McKay-----

Dundee Utd want Dougie Imrie
Hamilton have rejected the £25k offer telling United to up their offer if they want him. Uniteds offer is rumoured to be take it or leave it so it could well be the end of the deal
-
David Davis
I'm hearing that Davis has moved to Chesterfield on a 3 month emergency loan
-
Team for Motherwell - Hogg, Jones + Foran Out
Given that Tokely and A.Shinnie only returned to training on thursday after injury i wouldnt expect them to start. Maybe somehting like this: -----Esson----- Piermayr-----Golobart-----Gillet-----G. Shinnie -----Cox----- Hayes----------Tansey----------Doran -----McKay-----Tade-----

Steve Williams
Williams can play central midfield also, so its possible Butcher may want him for defence or midfield. Who knows....

Dundee Utd want Dougie Imrie
How much did we let him go for in the end?
-
Steve Williams
His agent has tweeted that a loan deal should be completed this week, awaiting international clearance
-
Michael Gardyne
Has agreed a pre-contract with Dundee United i'm hearing. Missed the boat on that one if you ask me

Steve Williams
We currently have Bradford City centre half Steve Williams on trial, source below http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Caley-Thistle-assess-Bradford-City-defender-06012012.htm Certainly could do with getting in someone to address our defensive problems at present Suprised me a bit as i thought replacing Davis was Butchers plan. Mind you centre midfield is an area where we have quite a few players (once injuries clear)
-
Potential signings
Supposed to be Bradford City i think, there are rumours/murmurs on twitter and facebook that the guy we had/have on trial is Bradford defender Steve Williams. 6ft 4 centre half. No idea how true the rumours are

Team for Aberdeen
ESSON PIERMAYR----TOKELY----GOLOBART----GILLET ----DAVIS---- HAYES----------------------------------------G.SHINNIE ----A.SHINNIE---- TADE-----------------------MCKAY

Matchday Thread: Rangers -V- ICT
team today is: Esson, Tokely, Cox, Hayes, Tansey, Foran, Tade, Golobart, G Shinnie, McKay and Gillet 4-4-2 perhaps?
-
David Davis
Hope no one else comes in for him!
-
Team for Rangers
If Proctor, Piermayr and Meekings are all still out, which sounds very likely, then i think we may have to line up something like this: Esson Tokely----Golobart----Gillet----G. Shinnie Cox----Tansey Hayes A.Shinnie Foran McKay

Hogg out for season?
Terrible news, sounds like an awful injury and one that will take a lot of mental and physical strength to come back from Wishing Hoggy all the best and a speedy recovery
-
Disgraceful
I have seen Terry sitting up with the directors quite a few times this season, it would certainly afford him a much better view than from the dugout. However more often than not he runs down to the dugout when things arent going to well to bark out orders. This seems to be happening earlier and earlier in the games!

Gary MacKay Steven
IIRC he was offered a pay as you play deal given his previous serious injury problems, he turned the offer down and went to Airdrie after they offered him a more permanent deal all be it on 1 year contract i think. dundee United then began sniffing about and offered him a trial which ended in him being offered a two year deal certainly think we missed the boat on that one
