This snippet of possible transfer activity seems to have gone quiet. Anyone heard anything new?

its quite worrying to think that we dont really have any natural wide players fit at the moment in the first team Foran, Sutherland, Ross and Piermayr can all play wide but its not the ideal situation Maybe with Doran now injured and Tansey coming back then Tel will go with Morrison and Tansey in the middle with any two from Ross, Foran, Sutherlan, Piermayr in the wide positions. The other alternative is to put Piermayr in at left back and push G Shinnie into the left midfield position. After his performance on Saturday i think this would be a productive move What ever team terry decides to play i think there may well be chances for the likes of Greig to make a substitue appearance at least

Ive seen quite a few stray shots clatter folk in the North Stand in the warm-up. Seen a few nasty ones as well, remember one guy a few seasons ago being knocked clean off his feet after a wayward shot caught him in the chest.

^ this some people are heavily influenced by goals, personally i would be much more inclined to vote for a man of the match based on creativity in terms of passing, setting up chances/assists. Effort quite often comes into it, someone like Tade who would run through a brick wall, literally, would be more inclined to get a MoM from me rather than a player who may have scored a tap-in in the same game

May get his chance sooner rather than later if our wide midfielders continue to get injured

What a difference a few days make great 3 points on Saturday with a few other results going our way and its not doom and gloom anymore hopefully the international break lets us get some players back from injury

3 points thouroughly fought for today. Played some nice stuff coupled with some suicidal stuff. Hoping we can kick on from this and it lifts our confidence. The international break should hopefully let a couple of our injured players recover. I now have a player I detest more than anyone else in the SPL; Dayton, what a cheating wee nyaff. Fell over at the lightest of contact and flouted the laws of the game all day. Here was me thinking diving was a bookable offence, yet he did it continually. Shocking refereeing to let him off with it. Similarly shocking refereeing to only book the player who fouled Doran. Does dislocating a players shoulder not constitute violent play?!? Hope doran and foran recover quickly Onwards and upwards ICT. C'mon!!!!

I think he was at one point. We also had Stevie Campbell as a fitness coach for a while before he moved to Dundee United. It wasnt for long though, think he may have moved to DUFC when Brewster moved there He was the U19 coach, not a fitness coach. I think i may be getting confused with Peter Davidson

Im sure we used to have a fintess coach a few seasons ago IIRC, maybe about time we got another one What is good about fitness coaches nowadays is that their remit is not only to get players fit but it is also to keep them fit and also free of injury, would be a welcome addition to the coaching team if you ask me

Can understand why he wanted to leave if he wasnt going to get a game. Third choice behind Hogg, Tokely and Golobart would mean he wouldnt get much game time and that totally defeats the purpose of the loan. These things happen in football, wish him all the best in the future. Now lets focus on getting our squad fit and back on track and hopefully add a striker to the squad which we desperately need

with the prospect of new players coming in i'd certainly hope another defender capable of playing centre half and right back (for cover to Piermayr) comes in along with a striker

Delighted to see our players associated with their respective national squads. It shows how far we have come that so many players in our squad are now internationally recognised

While this has been a hugely frustrating decision in the short term it will come back to haunt us as well later in the season i fear. A sending off so early in the season will boost Tokely's disciplinary points total and will leave him and us vulnerable to further suspensions as the season goes on. The SFA panel has really shafted us here and IMO it stems from their unfathomable backing of the decision that tackling in the box is no longer allowed :irritated:
