  1. complete and utter liability wonder where he will end up after his stint at St Johnstone. Wouldnt imagine there would be that many clubs queing up to sign him given his history of indiscipline
  2. Isnt it just three? If they were to win 0-3 this weekend then we would be on equal goal difference. Not sure how 10th would be settled but if it came down to head to head results then they would pip us to 10th
  3. completely agree!! As if things werent tight enough they are set to be tighter! there is bound to be plenty of youngsters released from bigger clubs over the summer, might be worthwhile taking a risk (not financial) and going with youth
  4. Article in todays Inverness Courier saying that Tokely and Williams are set to return from hamstring and calf injuries respectively to the matchday squad for this weekends game vs Hibs
  5. BBC's gossip column has the following Disappointing if true but certainly not surprising source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17988320
  6. Yet again the people in charge of our nations top league make us look like a laughing stock. Rangers couldnt even be bothered turning up to the meeting! get them down to the 3rd division and be done with it article on delayed voting shambles: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17983379
  7. I think Dunfermline winning would make our game on Saturday a cracking spectacle I am hearing that Hearts fans are planning going along to the game tonight in the Pars end to cheer them on, would be good if we could get a few hundred jambos through the turnstiles to potentially watch the hibees relegated. Would offset a potential low crowd given that we cannot finish any higher than 10th I would certainly like to see Dunfermline win tonight
  8. for the majority of ICT fans that i know there is a friendly rivalry between ICT and RC, I'm like a lot of other ICT fans who are happy that RC got up to the SPL because it strengthens football in the Highlands. While I am happy to see them in the SPL, i am not a supporter of RC and every time we play them i want to end them back over the bridge with their tail between their legs just as RC would relish giving us a beating. I actually think RC fans dislike us more than we dislike them due to our faster ascent up the leagues, that comes with a natural geographical rivalry however we are by no means anywhere near comparable with the vast array of rivalries that exist throughout Scotland and England I certainly dont think anyone on here is anti-county as such, just that as a rival team there comes banter, wanting to beat them and a strong urge to mock whenever possible
  9. Doran off injured? Replaced by Ross after 38 minutes

  11. Courier story here on contract offers: http://www.inverness...Kay-to-stay.htm some snippets: I have seen enough of Tansey to think he can go on to have a good future at this club, like most of the team he has been below par for the last few games but i think it would be worthwhile getting him signed up McKay has come into a bit of form over the last few games, if only we played tactics to suit him (ie ball on the deck) i am sure he would have more goals to his name. Glad to see Butcher looking to extend his deal but we need another forward to compliment him Glad to hear 2 year deals are being offered. One year deals are pointless IMO, the player doesnt really commit to the club in that 6 months into that deal he can speak to any other club and the club has no protection on their investment. relegation wage drops can be written into contracts so i dont buy that players wont commit if the club may drop a division This is the bit that pleased me most, it is abundantly clear we need some reinforcements in the team and i'm glad to hear Butcher has starting looking at players. Getting Black back would be a real coup and while i'm not optimistic it will happen given his now higher wage demands i'm glad to see Butcher showing interest Clarkson would be a great signing however i think this article is merely specualting that Butcher is interested, i certainly hope he is though!
  12. Announced today that Bill Miller is the preferred bidder. Going to be very interesting to see how his plan for a newco without liquidation will work, or not, whichever the case may be!
  13. The biggest thing i took from last night was on the rare occasion we played the ball on the deck we actually looked like creating something. Although without a natural goalscorer almost all attacks fizzled out. Ross was having a good game linking things midfield but the ball wasnt given to him on the deck nearly enough. So many long hopeless punts up the park and i really felt for Mckay as he is always going to be fighting a losing battle when you are trying to deal with high balls against central defenders so much bigger than you. I really despise long balls and i have seen enough of them this season to last a lifetime. This is one of Terrys tactics that frustrates me the most. The other thing i picked up on last night was whenever we got the ball in the box last night we did not look like scoring, too many times we took the wrong option whether that was laying off a pass, or taking an extra touch or indeed shooting wildly over the bar. We really need a player in the box who is capable of shooting accurately on sight quickly. Hopefully the return of Shinnie should solve this Point secured and in the SPL for another season, time to regroup and plan for next year and plan a way of improving the team sufficiently that we are not in a relegation battle next year!
  14. Delighted to see him make a return to the team last night, he has been greatly missed. Certainly made a difference when he came on, just a shame our defenders were intent on bypassing the midfield and pumping high balls everywhere which meant chances for him were few and far between
  15. article here: http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsUpdate/0,,10337~2755730,00.html
  16. As Yngwie says, County will no doubt sign players over the next few months that our fans will feel we should have signed. If they are signing for County then in theory there is no reason why we couldnt have signed them, it boils down to whether we want to or not. I cant see County being able to offer more wages (at the moment) than us and any player who would be willing to move to Dingwall would be willing to move to Inverness. As we have frequently seen in recent times with two clubs that are close by, i.e rangers/celtic, hearts/hibs etc agents will tout their players to both clubs so i wouldnt be suprised to see some future paper headlines saying County and Caley in battle to sign player x or suchlike
  17. He is in full training and made the bench against Killie, would certainly expect him to be on the bench again tonight, whether he features or not is an entirely different question. I would think it depends entirely on whether we are chasing the game or not. With Hayes suspended, i would imagine Billty Mckay would play up front with Tade out wide. It doesnt leave much striking options on the bench other than Shane or Sam Winnall however Butcher seems very loathe to use the later

  19. from BBC preview here: http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/17836028 that said its very difficult nowadays to get accurate suspension info so who knows!
