  1. 86 mins gone, still 1-1
  2. seem to be giving a way a lot of chances
  3. Really hope Nick continues his rich vein of scoring form in pre-season into the season proper. It was the only thing missing from his play last season
  4. summary from Aldershot website:
  5. Stevenson and Doran off at HT, Shinnie and Morrison on
  6. two subs on at HT, not sure who though
  7. HT 1-0 to Aldershot
  8. sounds like a very poor first half for us
  9. Im sure i read somewhere that Butcher has been using a 4-4-2 diamond formation and also thay Hayes played the last game up front Maybe something like this: ESSON PROCTOR ------TOKLEY------ALDRED-------GILLET ROSS DORAN--------------------------------------STEVENSON TANSEY HAYES---------FORAN

rumoured to be in talks with Hibs
  11. Couldn't agree more ICTChris. - especially since the P&J has introduced a paywall which I find bizarre. I was conversing with a Northampton fan last night via the medium of Twitter. Interesting to get their views on Billy McKay. Will definately make more use of it this season. The press and journal paywall is a real annoyance, makes me even less likely to pay for what they publish. I'm the same about twitter, its a great medium in which to follow latest news regarding football. While there werent many updates from the friendly against Bristol Rovers last night from ICT fans, i followed a couple of Bristol fans twitter pages and got some very quick updates and what appears to be fairly unbiased game commentary. Twitter has certain been embraced by fans and players Hopefully more football clubs (including ours which i see has an account) makes the most of social networking as a form of quick and efficient communication Could definately have some excellent uses, quick and efficient way to notify fans about fixtures, match postponements, travel delays for fans, signings, injury updates etc

    Terry in todays Courier:
  13. Just read this on a Bristol rovers froum: Sound like anyone we know?
  14. Todays Inverness Courier has an article saying Butcher is eyeing up more signings link
  15. Getting beat 1-0. Penalty

6 ft 2 centre half who can play right back. Fits the bill in what we need at the moment, PNE would be able to offer him more money i would imagine
  17. Todays Press and Journal shed a little more light on the situation, no online links unfortunately The article says that Gilbert was brought up here, flights and accomodation paid for. He played against Clach and picked up a calf strain. He was assessed by physios and sent for an MRI scan at the cost of ICT, the news came back that he would need 3 weeks of rehab and could be back playing in 4-5 weeks. Butcher was still keen and said he would wait however the next thing he knew Gilbert had returned south and was playing in a trial for a team down south. Interest in the player promptly ceased

Duff's contract offer has been withdrawn according to todays Press and Journal, sounds like Tel got fed up waiting for him, cant say i blame him
  19. So by my reckoning, our squad looks like this: GKs Esson, Tuffey DEFs Tokely, Aldred, Meekings, G Shinnie, Gillet, Proctor MIDs Doran, Tansey, Cox, Morrison, Ross, Hayes, A Shinnie, Polworth STRs Foran, Tade, McKay, Sutherland Squad number sitting at 20, still quite a bit below last seasons figure of 28 (a few of which were 6 month loans). I think Butcher will probably run with a squad of about 22-24 I reckon a couple of defenders added to the squad and we will be pretty much there
  20. Not the best of sources but The Sun is reporting that it is a 2 year permanent deal for Doran and that Butcher was delighted to get him on a free. It also says we beat off competition from Aberdeen and St Johnstone who were very keen to sign him.
