  4. yyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaassssssss
  5. and now as i was typing its 2-2!!!! what a game so far!!
  6. I check the internet one minute and we're 0-1 up, come back to it 5 mins later and we're 2-1 down??? WTF???
  7. I think its only fair that Tuffey remains between the sticks. He has done nothing to warrant being dropped for cup games. Butcher obviously wants to give Tuffey games and decided that the cup is the ideal place for this, would be very unfair of Butcher to drop him now

See my post- Hayes still unavailable along with Ross and Morrison. Dont think any are back in training or ready yet. (I could be wrong.) Yeah, tts very tricky doing a line up at this stage. Ive heard as well that Shinnie has withdrawn from the U21 Scotland training camp, hopefully nothing too serious and it doesnt mean he is out for this weekend Could really do with Gillet back Really hope Hayes, Ross, Sanchez, Gillet and Morrison are back fit soon

Dani Sanchez out for quite a few weeks unfortunately. I'd go with: --- ESSON --- DUFF --- INNES --- HOGG --- SHINNIE --- DUNCAN --- COX--- DORAN --------------------------ROSS / HAYES ---ROONEY--- FORAN ---

The Press and Journal are reporting today that the Sanchez injury was worse than ititially feared. Turns out he broke his hand in three places and required surgery on Sunday. Butcher thinks he'll be out for over a month and will miss the cup QF story here This is a real blow not only to Sanchez but to the team. Since he made his goal scoring cameo against Elgin he looked a far hungrier player and he looked a lot better than he has done in the past. He has strengthened up considerably and doesnt back away from tackles nearly as much as he used to. Also with his goals and creativity he brought something different to the team, as the article says he also brought enthusiasm to the dressing room which made him a popular part of the team, he will be missed i wish him a speedy recovery and for him to be back to full fitness soon
  11. is it just me that thinks we havnt seen enough of gil yet to be putting him down all the time he's came a long way to play for us its gonna take time to settle give the guy a break hes only 20 I completely agree, seems like he's been written off without even playing a full game
  12. Given the injury to hayes and our recent signings, i'd line up something like this: ---ESSON--- DUFF---TOKELY---HOGG---SHINNIE ---DUNCAN---COX*--- DORAN---ROSS---FORAN ---ROONEY--- * change Cox for Proctor if Cox isnt fit
  13. you are right, he started as a right back but was tried out in the left back position and excelled. I notice he scored against chelsea last night as well Great to have versatility in the team
  14. Bardsley has been playing left back for Sunderland and been doing pretty well there. I would certainly pick him before Wilson whom i do not rate. Isnt Whittaker usually used on the left? I notice he isnt in the squad. Is he injured just now?
  15. Supposedly Wigan are the latest team on for Sammon. He'd be a decent catch for them
  16. Great news Delighted to see Shinnie being called up, fully deserved IMO

the 4-5-1 (4-2-3-1) counter attacking formation we play at home is IMO a factor in why we havent been picking up as many points At home i'd prefer a less defensive outlook. Something along the lines of: --- GK --- RB --- CB --- CB --- LB --- DM --- RM --- CM --- LM --- STR --- STR ---
  18. Every time i have seen Hamilton up here they bend the rules wherever possible. I have seem them steal yards at freekicks/throw ins, kick the ball away at throw-ins/free kicks/corners/bye kicks, time waste in every way possible (im sure i'd have time to go get a bovril in the time it has taken Cerny to take bye-kicks in the past), dive before tackles are made, shirt pull and in general use every trick in the book to gain an advantage. The ref barely ever picks up on it because it is classed more than ungentlemanly conduct rather than direct rule breaking While i do not condone cheating sometimes i think taking a more streetwise approach wouldnt necessarily be a bad thing

From BBC wesbite, Friday Scottish Football Gossip section:

Not a good start for Muzza against Ferrer. One set down and making a lot of unforced errors in the second

Saw that on P&B Few quotes from a Burnely forum about the Macdonald and Fletcher loan proposals:
