ICT v COUNTY : Matchday Thread
very good assessment however i cant put into words how bad djebi-zadi was today, barring that one marvellous block he looked like an amateur footballer. he could not pass, was constantly caught out of position, let his man get past him so many times, clearances he made would almost always go to the opposition or out of the park. i have never once experienced an ICT player being so roundly booed as the way Djebi-Zadi was today, i think that shows how bad his game was today. I feel bad singling one person for our awful performance but he really stood out as putting in an unacceptable performance. overall we just werent at the races today, too many players let the game pass them by. i'm gutted, absolutely gutted by that game today.

ICT -V- Ayr Utd : Matchday Thread
completely agree, i think both players would have given us something different today. Imrie could have definitely helped, hes not known to shy away from a blast at goal

Livingston FC
wasnt the ?720k bond needed to assure the SFL that Livi had the finances in place to fulfil all of their league games including wages, maintenance of a certified stadium etc? if that is the case then i think making sure that Livi were capable of lasting the season was a sensible demand. i think once a club becomes insolvent the SFL rules state that demotion is a given and after demoting gretna for becoming insolvent then they had little choice to do anything different. what makes this whole situation so much more complicated is the fact that Massone held his shareholding until it was too late, if he had sold the shareholding and the rescue package was agreed prior to the club becoming insolvent then the whole debacle could have been avoided. i think its extremely sad in this situation because there were people ready and willing to save Livi but for Massone and his bizarre workings any chance of survival was doomed to failure. i certainly dont feel the need to gloat because in the current financial climate insolvency is a fate which can and most probably will affect more clubs this season.

scotland vs norway line up
i agree with what Chibber said, i dont think we were doing ok until the sending off either, the Riise chance was a prime example, we were cut open with so much ease that it was frightening. the only chance we had was when the ball fell to Fletcher at the back post after some calamatous defending and he balooned it over. for me the whole debacle started with the team selection, Alexander over Hartley was a bizzarre choice. Davidson at left back?? when was his last cap!! Why was weir dropped, despite his lack of pace he is still a very clever defender. no McFadden in the team, lunacy if you ask me. i was truly embarassed watching that, 4-0 going on 10 against a norway side which really only had 4 decent players, that is a disgrace!!

Dear Mr Butcher
How? What doesnt he have to be captain composure for one, secondly a tendency to rack up bookings which is not really a good example for a captain to set.

Champions League Draw
Not necissarily i think if they get a goal or 2 at parkhead without reply and then go and play the way they did against moscow they are in with a hell of a shout. Should be a cracking tie though against arsenal?? i cant see it personally

shop and ticket office to go
in the current financial climate where all revenue streams should be utilised it is sad news that the shop and ticket office is being closed, the hard work of the staff and its associated revenue will be missed.

If Esson is still carrying an injury (the reason he was on bench last week) then there's every chance we'll have Allison in goal. is there a thrid choice at the club? or would Esson be listed as a sub even though he is injured (ive seen this happen before with clubs where an injured player is listed amongst subs)

I watched him at the Forres game, played on the left first half and the right in the second so he was on my side the whole 90 mins, watching him he didnt seem to have much in the way of a right foot.... first and last touch always on the left foot... Keep an eye on it IHE you'll see it yourself, his goal at forres was taken down the right side but he had to turn it and bring it in on his left to shoot. he is very left footed but can still play on either wing, just like Imrie

Stadium Announcer
Quite agree there. Too many people sit on the sidelines criticising the efforts of others but do little themselves. Human nature I suppose and it's something we Scots are particularly good at. i completely agree, i wonder if any of the posters criticising the announcer would like to try it themselves to see if they are any better, i think not!
