    Asda

Great news, if for no other reason, it breaks tescos stranglehold.. Am no fan of Tesco, but it is the handiest supermarket for me. In saying that, i prefer to shop at Morrisons coz its far better value and quality (like meat). Plus....Asda generally build nicer stores than the others!! I had forgotten about Asda Online shopping. It costs the same to be delivered as it does for me to get a taxi from Inshes Tesco to Cradlehall! Only wish Asda was getting built closer to me

    Belladrum

I think the attitude to approach Belladrum with is, dont be expecting a mouthwatering/world beating line up, its more about discovering new up and coming bands. I really enjoy the vibe of the festival. Also love trying all the different food thats available there. Its just a great way to spend a couple of days  Hope i can afford it this year. Only two weeks to go on saturday!
  3. Am getting a feeling in my water....its gonna be 0-5 to ICT

    Belladrum

Am hoping to be there this year again. Havent bought tickets yet. Normally have bought them long before now, but have had a busy few weeks (financially) with other gigs to pay for. Dont wish to rub it in....but James (my second fave music act) were excellent at Belladrum!
  5. I wish i had a memory for such things :P
  6. Scotty....Didnt Bob have his first lil shop, while still in the High School, down in Mealmarket Close?
  7. If you re-read my post Alex, you will see that i was reffering to the season in general, and not just Saturdays game!
  8. Bonus question Scotty, do you recall where Bob's first shop was located?
  9. I think there is a computer shop down the harbour front somewhere too (has another shop in Elgin too) which i believe is/was good prices for components. Might not do actual computers tho!
  10. Ah...i didnt realise we had solar powered lights etc in the south stand , my mistake! Also...i dont EVER recall a steward "segregation barrier" being required when we were in the First Div last time around. But open the south stand, you will require extra stewarding
  11. I do think the South Stand will be closed all season, unless we have a 1st div play off scenario. I just cant see it paying for itself by the time you take into consideration, stewarding and powering up the stand, for what would probably see 200 or so people using it at the most. Methinks it will be Main Stand and North Stands only this season (barre "big" games)
  12. Cink didnt win it, Watson threw it away. His putt on the 18th was woeful. He didnt approach it like the championship was hanging on it. It was more like he had just heard he had just lost the chance to win. Still, in saying that, Watson picked up a cheque for ?550 000, so, not a bad few days work!
  13. Nobody need take out insurance. Sale of goods act covers you. You just need to be clear about it and the sales person will back off!
  14. It will be the Saints alright....but St Johnstone!
  15. All I will say about that suggestion is, my dad took his pc in there (just over a year ago) as it wasnt working. They looked at it and told him it was knackered and would be cheaper buying a new one! :( Lets just say, i fixed it for about ?20
  16. Good on yer mum. Will keep her mind active by getting one. My dad did the same at age 70! And i thought i would be getting a lot more phone calls with problems than i have been getting! You probably cant go wrong with PC World.
  17. Am working on my question as i type, but am wanting to make it a tuffy. In the meantime...heres a cool wee clip i found for all 70s kids, with clips of some of our programmes from that time! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl-_uLWBZDY&feature=fvw
  18. Bruce Springsteen- Working on a dream. (saw him live on tuesday. On stage for 3hrs straight, with no break. QUALITY show!)
  19. ancient chinese proverb georgeios......but it is a good un eh!
  20. Might have been better making the question more general, by asking ALL fans and not just season ticket holders. Get an even closer reflection of the feeling among fans. Out of interest, does anyone know what percentage of attendances are made up of season tix holders vs Pay at gate fans?
  21. I think at least part of that preminition will come true...ie, St jhnstn coming straight back down!
  22. Em....that would be me then!
  23. Am just wondering when the press scare mongering over "underlying medical problems" will begin.
  24. Grant Munro (IMO) doesnt have that fire in the belly quality a good leader needs. I observed him in the last game of the season, when he really needed to set an exapmle. lets just say, a weaker captains performance i have NEVER witnessed! Especially with the game meaning so much.
  25. "A WOMAN suffering from swine flu has died in Inverness. The tourist, who was admitted to Raigmore Hospital more than three weeks ago, is said to have had underlying medical conditions when she died yesterday (Wednesday). She is now the third person in Scotland to have died from H1N1. A 73-year-old man and 38-year-old woman suffering from swine flu died last month. They also had underlying health problems. Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon said: "This woman?s death is a tragedy for her family and friends and I?d like to express my sincere condolences. "As we have seen in previous cases, this patient was suffering from underlying health conditions and her death should not cause alarm among the general population. "Fortunately, the vast majority of those who have H1N1 suffer relatively mild symptoms and make a full recovery. The latest figures for Scotland also show that, while the virus continues to circulate, the rates remain relatively low." The total number of people with swine flu to have died across the UK now stands at 18." Now....after a little investigation by myself, turns out....every winter, Influenza claims 5000 lives in the UK, out of approx 1.5 million cases. Swine flu has claimed 18 in total out of 2000+ cases. Influenza claims 500 000 people worldwide each year. Swine flu has claimed worldwide less than 3000. So...why all the media sensationalism?
