  1. I had a Dundee Utd fan on my facebook slagging off the prices ICT charged away fans kids to get into games. A littlle investigation showed ICT were not any worse than his team
  2. I think cost may be an issue for some but I'm not convinced it's as big as that. I think prices compare with a trip to the cinema etc when everything is added in. The football is our leisure activity in our family so we tend to do the cinema, bowling etc rarely. I think the family section is a great deal for those with young children and there are finance packages available to spread the cost. It is a big jump in cost when they reach 12 or 16 I know but at least there are still concessions available. The club do on the day deals on a regular basis but I do know the take up is generally poor! I really feel these numbers are down to away crowds and fixture manipulation. I will concede there probably is a drop in home fans attending as well. IMO attending football is a habit. It's easy to get out of the habit and go and do other things at the weekend unfortunately for the club. I do worry about the sustainability for the future however. I could pay for 2 adults AND 2 kids, to go Ice Skating, on a saturday afternoon, for 2.5 hours, for about £3-4 CHEAPER thn it would cost just ONE adult to get the cheapest seat at TCS!!! I could take that same family of 4 to the Cinema, in the afternoon, for a pound or two more than what it would cost just me to get the cheapest seat in the house at TCS! Football is a RIP OFF....plain and simple. I find my season tickets much better value than cinema etc. as I said its a matter of choosing where youspend your money. I've never got a family ticket cheaper than £22 at the cinema....tho £23.20 for a family of 4 on a saurday afternoon to get into the cinema. i think the cheapest ticket for ONE adult at TCS is £21 For 2 adults and 2 under 12s you'd be about £24 a game for the four of you in the family section with season tickets. So much the same really. Not everyone has kids under 12, who would ONLY qualify for that price you quoted if the family were rich enuff to be able to fork out for two adult season tickets!!! So a fairer comparrison would be 2 x adult tickets for footie, in amily section = £32, plus two junior tickets=£14......so all in all.....£46
  3. Better being a realist...than a pie in the sky thinker, which only leads to disappointment. Probably like all those on here who were talking about ICT winning the league after the first quarter of the season. I stated they were kidding themsellves and that celtic would end up walking the league....which they did.

  5. Whats your expectations for next season? Reason i ask......this season.....ICT finnished 5th in the leage and narrowly missed out on winning a national trophy.....so i would say that makes it ICT's best season ever. BUT......does that stop people whinging? no, it doesnt. A lot of people forgetting that we are in fact a small fish in a small pond these days.....just becasue we had two seasons where we punched well above our weight. For me....a good season is managing to stay in the SPL. A very good season would be finnishing just outside the top 6. an Excellent season would be making the top 6 and throwing in a cup final too is just a massive bonus. So as far as next season goes, a finish anywhere from 7th - 10th would be a good season and i would be happy with that. Anything better than that is a hugely sucsessful season

    New Sponsor

Id like to think it is the National Chain. If it was the frachise, thats the sort of sponsor i would expect at Highland League level
  8. Next season could well be worse, especially if all those suggesting they wont be renewing their season tickets, because of Yogi, follow thro on their threats. Also, no Hearts and maybe no hibs. Ideally, as much as it pains me, Best case scenrio, for ALL sorts of reasons....is an SPL, with Rangers, Hearts and Hibs in it
  9. Yeah.....i only follow teams with state of the art stadiums, where money is no object!
  10. I think someone said the Structure itself is permanent....but the seating was only meant as a temp measure? One thing is for sure.....its nowhere near the stand the club had intended to put in place. It was far better....more like rugby park

Yeah....if you like a bit of chicken etc in your mayonaise sandwich
  12. for me.....the best moment was Nick ross's equaliser in the league cup semi. That and dorrans goal vs County.......and the second Half vs Dons when we were 4-0 down
  13. I had planned to take the wee man to the game today.....untill i realised it kicked off already lol
  14. i believe Clach won the League Cup today....so well done to them. (i like to see them do well)
  15. Yeah.....i thought being a fan meant sticking by the team thro good and bad times......but nowadys.....it seems to not be the case. Im hoping to make more games myself next year...now that my youngest has taken a shine to going to the footie with me....but i wont be able to justify season tickets
  16. QoS currently winning 3-2 on agg vs Falkirk.....with about 15 mins to go.....so they are that bit closer
  17. Im fearfull about season ticket sales next season. I hear there is a lot of disgruntled ST holders who are planning not renewing for next season
  18. I didnt know Clach were in a cup final. which one is it....League Cup Final? best of Luck to them. If they could pull off a win, it would be quite a year for Inverness sporting teams, what with the acheivments of ICT, Inverness City and Highland Rugby Club
  19. I think that was Wilson Robertson. Didnt Alan Hercher score our first ever scottish lge goal? I thought he got a hatrick vs Alloa......or someone like that??
  20. Passionate??.....you couldnt find a more reserved, placid support anywhere than at ICT. Makes snooker crowds look like a bunch of rowdies
  21. Am i right in thinking that these stands were only meant as a temporary solution, with an expected lifespan of 10 years? time must be closing in on them?
