  1. To win tomorrow would be simply amazing end to what has been a dream season. Dare i say, even IF we dont win, the club have done superb
  2. Well...i for one like talking about my beloved Caley and the old Highland League days. When the fans were consulted about the proposed Team Name...despite being Caley daft, i voted for the Caley and Thislte parts to be dropped from the team name, as i could see it would be problematic. it would have been better just calling the team Inverness. I know a lot of people who are still very bitter about things and its kind of sad. My facebook has numerous ex Caley fans being very negative towards ICT. I wonder if this reluctance to let go of the past is as prominent in old school jaggies? I few of my long time freinds were Jaggies, and while they are less vocal and negative, they still hold a grudge to ICT
  3. Ive been releived of my duties as manager lol. Ah well, close season, then we go again :)
  4. great to see all the good wishes. Real good to see mr Paul Cherry again. One of my all time fave ICT players :)
  5. Dunno about that. I just woke up to a craking pic of Jessica alba's ass in skimpy bikini bottoms on my facebook news feed. Its pretty epic! Still.....im DELIGHTED for Yogi. Richly deserved. Im sure he will be dedicating the award to EVERYONE involved in running the club :)
  6. Funny that.....as, i meant to post an ALMOST similar Thread, called "On This Day, 1st May 1999" and going on to waffle about what, IMHO, is THE greatest game of footie i have ever witnessed
  7. I went to pretty much all the home games when in the lower leagues, but since we got into the SPL, i doubt i have managed to rack up more than 10 games, due to personal circumstances
  8. Call me biased, but for me....Yogi wins hands down for me. He steered his team to a National Final, hopefully a 3rd place finish and potentially taken the team into Europe, all with extremly limited resources
  9. Now that i understand how to actually play the game...i demand a rematch with every team thats beaten me this season
  10. I was a rabid Caledonian fan, back in pre merger days. They were my no1 team and the only team i actually went to watch (and i miss them days immensly). BUT, as far as i recall, loads of fans of such teams in the Highland league, also had "Big Teams" that they "supported", be it the old firm, or even teams like Airdre etc
  11. Well done Everyone at the club. Fantastic result :)
  12. Im actually getting the knack of the game and how to play it. As i think i said earlier in the threads. i used to do about half a dozen different fantasy teams each year, select them at the start of the season and leave them be from there. This season, i think its just the one comp im doing, and i have been tweaking my team weekly since xmas and its gone a lot better
  13. Although some might be disapointed with the result, at the end of the day, we have increased our lead on our nearest rival. Thats a positive in my book
  14. Yeah....i DID have 3 southamptom defenders in my team (as they are still among the highest points scorers) but im pretty sure i put in leighton baines the last time the EPL was in action. Might even have made more changes than that. Its all good fun tho :)
  15. I know i might be a bit late in the day to be saying this but im really puzzled as to what im doing wrong. pretty much all my players i have, are in the top 10-12 scoring players for their positions, yet i seldom win. The only players that are getting more points, are the really expensive players...Likes of Costa etc. And realistically, you can only really afford two luxury players in your team. So not sure what more i could be doing.
  16. Its all well and good to say that but we have now said that the last few weeks Sitting 3rd in the league, approaching April, and people still find something to be negative about.
  17. Even if we do get beat...tis ok, with Dundee Utd getting beat and the Sheep only getting 1 pt, so, could be worse
  18. And the expensive "drainage system" that im sure was put in years ago?
  19. Well....i for one aint got ANY complaints about sitting in 3rd place in the league, going into March. i think its remarkable and i think Yogi should be handed the Manager of the year award right now!
  20. well....with Dundee Utd getting beat....its a point extra away from them
  21. my question is ...............is this the first time in ICT history that we have played without a recognised striker up front?
  22. Excellent result. well done lads. These are the type of games we usually struggle with.
  23. Kilmarnock score to beat Dundee Utd with last kick of the ball
