  1. Heres hoping its all a non story. Terry is on a good thing up here. If he moves to Hibs, he will be burdened with unreal expectations
  2. my feelings exactly! As far as im concerned..he is desserting us....so............as yngwie says.............
  3. What happens to the fans who threw away their tickets after getting into the ground last night?
  4. Well...i tried out the Vegas Chippy. First thing i noticed was how few chips you get, compared to other chippys. I moved my King Rib out of the way and i could see loads of big gaps in the chips, and could see the bottom of the container the food was served in. Maybe thats becasue the food was made to order? (as i think they are not yet busy enuff to justify making a pile of food) But the food its self wasnt so bad. pretty standard fair i would say. Nothing stood out as way better than anywhere else in town. What i did notice is...they have a "Gourmet menu" which has its meat supplied by McDougal And Hastie, so thats a good sign that they at least try and have quality suppliers. So all in all, id say the Vegas Chippy is just as good as anywhere else in town i have tried, but doenst stand out as good as the OP had lead me to believe. And they need to up the portions a bit. Id really like to try the Hitlon Chippy these days, just to see how good they are. Then again......i dont enjoy chippys as much these days, as the chips just arent as good as they were back in the day...before all this health freaks got everything changed. I maintain the best chips ever...were my mum and dads homemade chips.....cooked in proper FAT!
  5. Hmmm....i do believe.....in my teenage yrs...i referred to the Chip Shop as a Chipper, but nowadays.....its mostly chippy. Maybe i mix it up as i go?
  6. Yup, already got a glimpse of that ... He can fair make your heart melt and your stress fall off just by looking at him. My pal Calum once told me the same thing about his kids and I was focused on how much I would hate the horrible task of changing ****** nappies .... but that is insignificant compared to the smile he can put on your face just by making the odd noise or smiling. Changing nappies is easy peasy lemon squeezy. Even if you get poo on yer fingers....in a kind of way...its your poo too....coz you made the lil poo machine...so it dont seem so bad. And yeah.....its amazing how much your love for your kids can continue to grow....as they hit different ages. I remember thinking once they reach about 10, they be nowhere near as much fun etc, but they are....but in a different way. my oldest now is going on 21, but i still love spending time with him....as we have grown up conversations, about all sorts. I just remember thinking it would be possible for me to luv my kids more than i did when they were babies and then toddlers etc....but the affection for them just keeps growing. I just have another two to guide thro the teenage years, then they will all be grown ups
  7. Out of interest...how much was the fish supper? Was it a decent price?
  8. it took them long enuff to open. Place was ready to rock n roll.....for weeks...but didnt open....then...i went in one day when it was supposed to be open...only to be told that the Fryer and the manager (one and the same person or not???) wallked out that morning. Im planning going to check the Chippy out this weekend. Hopefully it is good like you say. Its only about 3 mins walk from my pad......if its gash....(al let you all know), i will just wak the 5 minutes in the other direction to Mr Chips. Its quite handy here....grieg street being so close...with a pub, an indian, a chinese and a chippy all in the same street :)
  9. All the very best to you all Scotty. Your life is now complete. You will realise what i mean over the coming months and years. Being a dad is the best thing ever :)
  10. Good Luck to him. He was somewhat of a rare breed these days (a loyal player to his local team). I wish him all the very best in whatever route he goes down

  17. The Domination over Hibees up here continues. Its getting to the point where they must feel like not turning up and just giving us the points lol
  18. It was much nearer to the 90s that the stands were taken down. Clach had the biggest capacity ground in the Highland League back then. Ive read stories of the Clach vs Caley new yrs derby attracting crowds of 12 000!!. In the old highland league Derbies, Caley fans used to get the stand on the right, which is only partially shown, and the Wine Shed. I know this to be true...as i meandered between the two frequently on Derby days of old. happy happy days :)
  19. This is typical of the Sheep......scoring a goal in the last 10 mins of the game.
  20. A point today....would be a decent result
  21. Hahah...im watching it...its HILARIOUS
  22. Well done ICT......another excellent 3 pts today
