  1. Out of intrest, how much does it cost to get into the Toronto Fc games? What sort of level would you say is the standard? Ya know..........SPL standard or maybe higher....like.... Highland League? :blah01: :crazy07:
  2. Its Apparently in response to the shambolic episode on Saturday wi singing section. They are to approach other SPL clubs to see what the feeling is
  3. Just been/going to be an article on North Tonight.
  4. Just been on the news that ICT are to investigate the possibility of introducing standing areas at the ground. I for one would welcome that, if nothing else may lower the price and be more acheivable for folks to afford to go to the games.
  5. I was being facetious RiG :021:
  6. Why does'nt EVERYONE who feels aggrieved by this, ALL bombard the official site with emails with a pre determined (possibly decided on here) message demanding an explanation and appology? You know wat i mean....one literate, well learned individual posts a well put together case, then those who wish can cut and paste it into an email, then send it to the club. Surely they could not ignore that?
  7. Does this all mean that if ICT score a goal, all those who stand to celebrate are potentially going to get turfed out? They have to be consistant here. ICTFC and all involved in its running, has to take a good long look at themselves. It is an embarassment at times the way they seem to miss golden opportunities to generate extra intrest in the club. They should not be victimising the already **** poor amount of people who actually go the games. They seem to be missing the point of running a football club!

    LOTTO

I got 4 numbers on euro lotto last week. As wifey in Tesco sed tho £25.90 is not much for 4 numbers. Still, better than nothing :crazy07:
  9. Au contraire lesser mortale.......I think it will have the opposite effect. Part time players will be even more up for beating an SPL team!
  10. Good nuff for em if you ask me :021: :021: :021:. Shame gretna scored or my dream finish would have been realised. Cant have it all i guess.
  11. This will subject will always bob up now and then....and so it should be allowed to, as we currently live in a democracy. if people dont like it, they should not qualify its existance by replying to it. I remember posting a reply to a similar thread many sites ago under my then username. My view is this. I was a Caley man. Originally Brought up where i could hit Caley Park with a well aimed stone. Had been going to games since 1976-77. Used to go chase footies for em at training every monday and thursday as a wee boy. And had been known to go in on a sunday and help clean the ground (mainly to try a find a free programme) Now.......when the merger was going thro, the questionaire was passed out asking for views on Name, I had forseen all the problems that would eat away at people by leaving Thistle and my beloved Caley in the name. The most embarrasing problem being, the still present division between supporters of the same team. I voted for Inverness! And I can tell ya this much. ICT never has, and never will replace what I had for Caley. But they are gone, and so the name should too, along with Thistle.
  12. Actually....would a draw screw up both gretna and Tinks as long as St J do the bizz?
  13. Al be with you in spirit :021: :021: :022: :015:
  14. I for one will be quite glad to see the tinks go down. I dont subscribe to this "support the highland team" crap. Out of St Johnstone and Gretna, I want Super J's, as Gretna are guilty of the very things that I beleiveing is impacting on the game (ie: paying silly wages) Yes, its a bit of romance etc etc, but if gretna do get in, how is a town gonna sustain a top league team when the population is under 3000, most of whom are Rugby orientated? And the stadium has to seat over two times the population of the town!!
  15. Gonna hav to fork out £70 just to see James. My second fave band. one of my biggest music regrets was never havin seen em live. hopefully sorted soon. they kick ***!!
  16. I just found out i qualified for season ticket about november time...so contacted the club and spoke to an individual who could well do with learning some customer skills! Since found out this person is reknowned for this
  17. Al giv you a wee insight into the running of this club. Due to illness, i am no longer working. I had been paying to go to football in Inverness since 1976 until a few yrs ago. Then at the tail end of last year, i find out i would qualify for a free season ticket because of my circumstances. Got my thinking head on, having seen half season tix for sale, I phoned the club about the possibility of an equal ticket being available to me. And i was shot down in flames and told I couldnt get one. Now.....where is the logic in this? On prob 85% of home games, there is prob the best part of 3000 ish seats unused. But rather than show a bit of initiative, (ie: bums on seats) they would rather bypass this matter. Says it all really! And as for cutting tix for away fans, thats ridiculous! Why limit yer income even more and have even more seats empty the majority of the time? I am no business brain, but I can see the flaw in yer proposition. Unless of course your anticipating a sudden surge of intrest from people wanting to come to the games? the sad fact is, the intrest doesnt appear to be there.

    The Last Post

I dont get this "black man in the street" thing. I certainly dont stare! I actually like to see em and I love their cultures . I think however, the difficulty I and many others have, is the speed at which so many people have arrived in the area over the last 2 yrs. Am sure i read that Invernress area last year, had 5000 migrants arrive. Thats believeable walking up the town with eyes open. And considering the existing problems with housing etc, it is causing animosity, especially when the council comes out and say they are going to provide them with better quality housing, as they dont want to cause more problems in existing problem areas. Thats just wrong! But, hey.....thats the council for ya!!
