  1. What i dont get is....i can call someone a pr1ck and nothing is said. Call them an English pr1ck and all of a sudden its viewed as racist. Well, apart from anything else...english are of the same race as Scots...so how can it be racist? Im sick of all the moaners with nothing better to do than get offended at any little thing
  2. The True definition of Racism, is Holding a belief that a race is Inferior to another. How the hell is calling the great unwashed over the bridge Gypos insinuating that they are in anyway inferior. Nope...sadly...we live in a time where people look for things to create a fuss over needlessley. Look at that latest Go Compare ad....it had a few hundered people complain about it. I have one thing to say to such crettins...get a fooking life!
  3. Way too many sensitive souls in the world these days.
  4. The New Strip reminds me of a 1980's carpet design. MAHOOSIVE thumbs down here
  5. 30 years ago...I was reguarly attending Caley games in the Highland League. It may have been a mickey mouse standard but al tell you this.....i was ENTERTAINED week in week out. I cant say that about football in Scotland these days......Last time i felt the same, was under Pele Paterson....win lose or draw, at least i left feeling i had my moneys worth. And that is a major thing for me, especially when times are economically difficult. Im deadly serious when i say this....Id rather ICT were a mid table, part Time Second Division team, who played entertaining football, than be an spl team and see the PISH that was served up the majority of the times i saw them last season
  6. Dunfermline were mind numbingly DULL to watch last season, and offered very little in the way of anything positive, so I feel the right choice has been made.
  7. What will be will be
  8. Yeah....Birdy was one memeber on here who had woken up and smelled the coffee! Could see things for the way they were
  9. By all accounts, work at VP should have been completed last night and C*unty will be sending in a safety cert request by midweek. So no extra income from ground share for us
  10. The powers that be were also saying, if full funding for Scotland was re-instated by westminster, the whole project would be finnished earlier. Al wager that London didnt see any spending cuts!!
  11. Might i remind you....we still have the diddy "singing section" from a few seasons ago....probably much the same as Countys "wendy house", minus a roof!
  12. I think the Moaning Mollys would be out in force if Jonny announced he was leaving for someone else while still under contract to us
  13. Im wondering if one of them you are thinking about was Munros the Bakers? I just remember them having the most tasty pies EVER. Only downside was....they were a little on the small side...but i have yet to sample a tastier pie. I think they were certainly about in the 70's, very early 80s, roughly where Scotscoup bookies was (before it shut)
  14. Im not sure where you getting your distance from, but inverness to Glasgow is about 170 miles, Kilmarnock must be another 25-30 miles past that
  15. Maybe on paper, but give me the Brazil teams of the 70s and 80s to watch anytime ahead of Spain
  16. Bumpity bump
  17. Anyone intrested in buying a ticket to see primal Scream this thursday @ Ironworks? Face Value o.v.n.o
  18. I been looking for answers to this question, but cant seem to find it. IF Rangers go into Liquidation, assets sold to the Newco etc, Does the Newco get to Keep the Name , the brand, the History and honours etc of Rangers FC, basically picking up where they left off, or is it a new team starting out?
  19. Way i see it...someone form france is french, someone from Italy is italian, someone from Spain is spanish. I come from Scotland, therefore im scottish!!
  20. Nah....i reckon we were the next worst team in the league overall. I think Hibs would have had the wherewithall to survive. Anyhoo....its just a what if scenario. Im intrested to hear Luke's view
  21. Luke....can i ask you....lets just say, we did go down last season, what would your view of Butcher be? Lets be honest....we sailed very close to the wind, and i believe had it not been for an EXCEPTIONALLY poor team in Dunfermline being there, we would have gone down.
  22. Are you too young to remember him tearing up the SPL? Not quite but it's easy to forget that just like its easy to forget the good butchers done when we have one bad season. Are you Butchers lovechild or something? your blind defense of him is something to behold. May i remind you....in Butchers time here, he got us relegated in his first half season here...from a situation that was salvageable, and he nigh on repeated that feat last season. So I think overall, his record is leaning toward sub-standard!
  23. You're probably too young to remember the funding issues when it was built. It was a modular design with the potential to fill those bits in later if required, so rather than shooting them, I would commend their vision You could of course just have left the ends off and reduced the main stand to 1700, but with the wings it takes 2200. Besides, I rather like it. It's unique! . i have it on good athourity, that the roof on the main stand was originally planned to extend another 30ft toward the pitch, giving better cover from weather and creating a better atmosphere, but again, cut backs had to be made
  24. Last i heard, the A9 claims the most lives of any road in Scotland. So its dangerous enough. http://www.pressandj...cle.aspx/595631 (after some research, A9 is every bit as lethal as Englands worst road for fatalities,, the difference being, Englands worst road isnt a main arterial route...unlike the A9) And i doubt theres a road as bad as the A96 connecting any two of Englands biggest cities.
  25. Im going to watch it properly on Sunday. I dont think it was in one of Eden Courts Cinema rooms, as the place last night had balconys, but i could be wrong
