If you could take any ICT player from the past, and apply them and their attributes to todays team....which player would you like to add to todays team and why? Personally.....I would like to see Paul Cherry back in midfield. This guy ruled the midfield, he was the General. Within 10 mins of the K.O, there was no doubt about who was calling the shots. he would give us so much dig in midfield.

Can we get conformation that it was in fact MacDougal and Hastie pies on sale tonight and whether this is to be the case from now on? If so....a superb decision!

To be fair Oz....i would say its only when it comes to England Footie team...and maybe rugby team that we enjoy watching them fall flat on their face. I dont think any other form of dislike for England has been expressed on here. And , from my own point of view....the reason for that is....because the english press keep banging on about how great England are and are generally condescending to the opponents and we get sick of it. Apart from that tho....i have no issues with anything English.

Am getting used to the new site...but one suggestion i would like to make, which seems to be absent from the site this time, is a link beneath the last posts on each topic to take you to the top of the page. On this laptop in particualr,due to a badly designed touchpad, its a pain in the ass trying to scroll back up to the top.

I am a hard liner...i believe if you are sent to prison, you should lose all your rights. Prison should be a harsh lesson...not about rehabilitation. There are too many goody two shoes who will make excuses and pander to these sort of scum that we lock away. Until such times....we will have lots of reoffenders, coz lets face it...prison isnt so bad! I like the Chinese system.....they even used to charge the condemmed the price of the bullet used to execute em. I bet if we followed their lead there would be a lot less crime and reoffenders in our country.

From what i saw of Eagles....he was a decent enough player. That sed...i wouldnt start him. I see him as a player you bring on with maybe 20-30 mins to go, to try and change a game. He does put in some good balls. So all in all.....not the worst player you could sign.

^ Yeah....a lesson we could learn from the french....if they dont like something....they boycott/protest en masse and get things changed. In this country...we tend to mump and moan about things, yet allow things to carry on as before...quite often paying money into the coffers at the same time. The end result....nothing changes!

Well...i had originally put in my post that my own personal prefference would be to pay someone ?10k to do the job properly, for once and for all....but decided to leave it out for fear of it being viewed as distasteful

So...Ian Huntley is to sue the prison service for injuries incurred under their care. He is apparently suing for ?100 000 for having his throat slashed. It is likely to cost tax payer ?1m for his legal aid. Whats your views on this?

As far as im aware....we are still with the same catering company....which means unless they have changed suppliers, it will be the same fare on offer again...at probably much inflated prices. Never quite understood why an SPL pie should cost more than an SFL pie...but there you have it.

I wouldn't say Portugal was a " lesser football nation " and by finishing runners up ahead of Porto , Sporting etc I'd hardly class Braga as " minor " . Hardly a european football force either tho are they!

Where can Scottish footie go from here? Teams getting p!ssed all over, by minor european teams. Why is it we never progress, yet other "lesser football nations" come on leaps and bounds. I cant help but think we need to go and look at how its done in other countries and adopt these methods....rather than plodding on with the same failing system
