  1. I too find so many flaws in his game. So...he scores now and then, his lack of ability to read tha game leads to added pressure on the team. what a difference a knowledgable midfeilder would make to that position. Thats just my opinion

I THINK we can win the league...but am not going shouting about it till the job is done. well...we are one step closer after today.5 games are a lot easier to win than 6!!!
  3. Thats us played our Get Out Of Jail Free card. I really thought we had blown it. really missed Russel Duncan today. Am i right in saying he will be back for tuesdays game. Thought there was some very porr defending....especially for two of the goals....BUT....we won...and thats the main thing
  4. Or to put it another way...they are LONG overdue a win against us....law of averages an all that!!!
  5. I do try and make it to the games i dont have my kids JB.....and also have the cash for. But truth be known....soince i split from ex 7 yrs ago...my kids have come before everything else....so my football attendance is a fraction that of yrs gone by.
  6. I should be there with a couple of mates :004:

Of the ones set to expire, the ONLY ones i think that are up to SPL football are Foran, Hayes, Esson and Coz. We would survive without the others. And before anyone points it out...yes i know i have omitted Tokely. I think he would struggle this time round at SPL level Yet another season goes by where people think superman isn't upto the job. I remember his first season in the SPL when he had his doubters and ended up being our best player by a mile. Tokely deserves another shot at the SPL and he'll prove everyone wrong yet again IMO. Where "IMO" being the operative words!! But surely after everyone wrote him off season after season from the 3rd division right up to the SPL you would know better than to assume he wouldn't be good enough again next year. You have to realise, that Tokely was NEVER blessed with much pace. He will get crucified next season IF we are in the SPL. U have to accept that players dont go on forever. I firmly believe tht Ross has played his part in the ICT story...but its time to let him go....ESPECIaLLY if we should find ourselves promoted next season. But fear not, i think his place at the table will be safe, i just hope we dont live to regret it.
  8. Are people THAT sensitive these days? It appears so...and i for one think it is PATHETIC...sticks and stones and all that! I once got a PM from Don on here...coz someone had taken offence to my use of the word "JAPS". the thing was...if i recall, I was praising them and their attitude to things. "Racism" is holding a belief that another race is inferior to your own..or discriminating against people based on their race. How is calling someone an English C**t or a Scottish W*nker, or anything else along those lines racist? To tear it up even more...al wager that the person being accused of this is in fact from the same racial background as the person their comments were directed at.

Absolutely. Ryan is a very good keeper....and i have a lot of faith in him Cant say the same for Fraser, who i thought was p1sh and a liability. I too agree we may have stayed up had Fraser not been put in goals them last few games to flap about as usual!
  12. I was always under the impression that (initially anyway) the land was leased to the club, from the council, on an agreed 99year lease. Is this still the case?

Bring back public stoning i say....and no DC...that dont mean socially excepted ganja smoking!

I sat in my first seat at a football ground circa 1977. I can exclusivley reveal...to this date...i have never had one break on me. They may be "flimsy, crappy plastic" but al wager to fix each seat will cost about ?20 a time to fix
  15. Your totals don't allow for the fact that we have to play both Dundee and Dunfermline, so at least 2 of the teams totals will be wrong. If we win both most they can get would be, Dundee 66 and Dunfermline 61 points If we were to lose 1 and C*unty will all theirs, County win. I've got brain ache, too many combinations , I just hope our great run continues and we take care of it ourselves without relying on others. I was just highlighting the potential max points haul for each team should they win all their remaining games. Its HIGHLY unlikely that ANY of the teams will achieve that points totals.
  16. I'd agree with that. Bazza in his younger years, he was always gave everything he had, in every single game. Slight problem with that is- Barry Wilson was already a first team player when he came to us. neither Robson nor Johnny were. In fact...if i recall correctly....Barry had Premier Division experience (not to mention Europen Football) under his belt with Raith Rovers before he came to us. So its far from a comprable comparisson

Its pretty bad craic if seats were damaged last night...regardless of the reason.Absolutely NO excuse for it. Av never damaged a seat in my entire history of celebrating! And its obviously the club that will pick up the tab!
  18. at the moment...should the teams in contention each picked up max point before the end of the season, their points haul would be such ICT- 73 pts Ross C*unty- 71pts Dundee - 69 pts Dunfermline - 64 pts So...as it stands, we can basically afford to drop two points, yet rely on our superior goal difference to win us the league. that equates to 5 wins and a draw, im fairly confident we wont need to do that tho
  19. Erm....im referring more to their first seasons, and merely pointing out that...IMHO....Johnny is showing more promise (at a MUCH higher standard) than Robson did. He also has a far more favourable attitude to the game than Barry did. It is no no coincidence that Johnnys form reflects our sucsess this season. He and Foran are the key players As great a player as Barry Robson was for ICT...he had a side to him than frustrated me at times.
  20. Actually...more realistically, i think 3 wins, 2 draws and we could afford a defeat SHOULD be enuff. That sed...Im HOPING for at least 5 wins :(
  21. I was reckoning , before the county game...we would need 15 pts from 21. So, by that reasoning, im thinking 12 pts from 18 shoud do it...so....4 wins for me should do it. Gonna be tuff tho...as we are the team to beat...so teams will raise their game against us
  22. Sorted....i was comparing like for like....Not Robson NOW vs Johnny. I was thinking more along the lines of Robson at the start of his ICT career. Actually....I rate Johnny as high already, as i did Robson at his peak with ICT. Johhny has more positive attrubutes to his game.
  23. I thought it was ?250k upon relegation then ?125k should they not get promoted the following season?

To be Honest Scotty...i thought the site has been quite responsive....since that period we went thro some months ago, where it was HIGHLY unreliable.

I have noticed the site has been sluggish since about tea time yesterday Scotty. Was taking ages to view pages and post replies since then
