  1. I see Graham Bayne got the man of the match in The Record today (not for the first time) Seems that only his own fans (albeit a small percentage) are critical of him. One other thing, correct me if I'm wrong 'cause I'm not 100% sure about this, but surely the reason that clubs aren't hovering around Bayne and Wyness is because they, unlike Dargo, aren't out of contract.
  2. Surprised no one has mentioned the stonewall penalty we should have had just before half-time. Langfield going to clear the ball, mistimes it, booting Barry Wilson's shin, denying Wilson a shooting opportunity ! No luck ! :008:
  3. Aye there is definatly a lack of communication regarding this deal. If there are any officials out there could you tell us the situation re- Paatelainen
  4. You're talking about the STIRLING ALBION game here. What about the Rangers game, when Bayne was outstanding. Bayne is an SPL player without a shadow of doubt. HE CONSTANTLY PROVES HIMSELF IN THE BIG GAMES !
  5. I'm with CaleyD, I disagree. As I've said before, it may sound like a bit of a contradiction, but being a striker isn't all about scoring goals, Joe Jordan one of Scotland's all time top forwards was never prolific. Graham Bayne is a good centre-forward. He gets good remarks in the press from the "experts" Whilst I appreciate Dargo has a good return, I must admit my favoured pair at the moment would be Bayne and Wyness
  6. Personally I think indoor football like "the sixes" or "the masters" as shown on SKY over and over is a load of c r a p. I appreciate I'm in the minority, my pals used to love the Scottish sixes, but sorry, I always found it pretty tedious stuff.
  7. Arab4ever- I've been looking at Arab Talk and your boys don't seem awful happy with their new addition. You should explain to them that Dods will be a good signing, he's been a major part of a very tight defence, he's proven in the SPL and if deployed properly, will tighten up the United defence that's been leaking more than a male centugenarian
  8. Well done the team, fine result, unlucky not to win. Watched the 5 minute Setanta highlights at tea time, we really looked the far better team. Roy McBain will have nightmares regarding his lose of possesion for their feckin 93rd minute goal, but no criticism from me because we wouldn't have scored our goal had it no' been for Roy's prompting. Really looks like the Caley-Jags are back to the level they were at, at their height last season. Augers well for a good finish. Hampden would be nice :021:
  9. Sounds like a good piece of business ! Had a look at the Pie and Bovril site and the Cowdenbeath fans are giving him tremendous reviews. Amazed to think there has been a player as good as this kicking about the 2nd division and yet when we were all speculating about what winger from the lower leagues we were about to sign, none of us quoted him.
  10. The Hibbies should be suitably knackered by the time they head north ! Even better should their Thursday night tie with Aberdeen go to extra time.
  11. If Smith did REASONABLY well he'd have been kept on, make no mistake. Walter would've wanted back to Rangers no matter what.
  12. I'm a fully paid up member of the T.A. and whilst we've always been aware he's a Rangers man, I'd always respected him. In my eyes what this man has done is a total disgrace. To leave your own country at this stage of a campaign, especially when doing so well, is unforgivable. Rangers and Walter deserve each other.
  13. Well whatever has been said, it seems to have worked.
  14. Good news, and perhaps a good piece of management by C.C.
  15. Daily Record has Levein down for the Scotland job should Wattie turn down a job share. What a blow that would be for the Tangerines ! Personally I'd go for it.
  16. Why would we still be at Pittodrie, had it not been for you ?
  17. The days of SPL clubs "splashing out" are long gone. The money madness of 90's with clubs living beyond their means, almost going to the wall, will never return. ICT are a well run club, with their average gate at something like 4500, where does the money for the big signing come from ?

    snodgrass

    News just in....just in where?
  19. Bl oo dy h e ll That's enough to be getting on with ! Don't know too much about them other than McConalogue who we all saw playing for P.T. last season, didn't look better than anything we've got. Snodgrass IS a talent, but is he not the guy who's attitude is questioned. MacPake is a utility player, who can play centre-half or centre-forward, I've seen him play a couple of times, fairly average, although he could be back up for Dods, Munro and Bayne.

    Darren Dods

TheDaily Record tells us this morning that Dods IS NOT GOING TO DUNDEE UNITED ! Craig Levein apparently says there is no truth in the speculation. I'm beginning to wonder if Dods will have to drop a level if he wants to leave ICT
  21. It's late i'm tickling your ribs :001: So whats plan B ? Well at the moment it would be Dargo and McSwegan for me anyhow, but it sounds like Alex knows something different :010: BTW HH you're man Corcoran is the spitting image of Eddie Gray in style, obviously not as good as the great man but very very similar

    Darren Dods

Good point Alex, I hadn't thought of that angle. Would be totally pointless looking for a fee.
  23. Indeed you did Alex, quite brave too (at the time)
  24. And then we've got, as Andy Walker said, the legend Archie MacPherson....... It may be his unfortunate manner but I swear MacPherson thinks he's Scottish Football's God Almighty
  25. You're right about Wyness H.H. he is inconsistant and with him currently being on-form he's the boy to partner Bayne, who in my eyes is the most underrated player at the club.
