  1. is it just me or does todays society seem to becoming more sensitive and feelings orintated. admitidley most of my assumptions are based on todays media but accross the board it seems that you cant go 10 feet without falling over someone who is offended by something or is protesting agains this or that. eg 1 the recent run of Kill it Cook it Eat it onn bbc3 :- the girl whose soloution to overbreeding by rabbits was to have scientists find a way to deal with it 2 the whole prince harry debacle, did anybody stop to ask the guy involved his opinion, if he is not bothered then why should the rest of us be, 3 there seems to be a growing number of people protesting about thos that and the other these days but when it comes to actually supporting people who allow them the democratic right to do that it all goes out the window yes i know someone will probably point out that i could be seen as getting oversensitive in this thread but you get my drift i hope

  3. one for fun here and a bit of armchair anagement. what 5 things would you change at the club if you could play god. i dont mean the obvious answers like win more games and sign cristiano ronaldo but things like play more passing and turn the stadium through 180 degrees my 5 to follow shortly 1 turn the stadium through 180 degrees to stop the freeloaders 2 actually pass the ball rather than hit and hope 3 switch kit supplier to someone that doesnt make me feel so fat 4 improve the pies in the snackbar, (chicken balti is far superior to jut chicken curry) 5 cover the lower half of the mainstand so my seat stays dry

  5. in all honesty if we play to our potential we should be look in at 7 - 9 points from these four games. barring celtic we should not be fearing ANY of those 4

    Zander

i had high hopes at the start of the season after zanders comments of beating a oath to brews door and brews comments of being impressed at the way he returned from elgin but have to admit i am disappointed not to have heard of him featuring and really am begining to think he may be on his way out. could be a big mistake to let him go as i believe he has the potentil there he may just need to be shown the best way to get it on the park
  8. yeah, yogi is usually worth the entrance fee. thats why i do like my seat where it is... john collins was a good one. and dare i say it gus macpherson can be good too
  9. would probably ask him if he can get me a discount on my season ticket....
  10. aint seen him play but from what i have heard duff in the middle and proc out on the right. was highly imperssed last yer with bambi and once he gets a few games back i would like to see a return to his form
  11. A bit of pot/kettle there Ralph !!!! You didnt like the reaction of those fans calling for Brewster's head after last week's debacle yet feel quite happy rubbing their noses in it after a result that many of the same people have acknowledged as far better. Bottom line, last week was a farce, this week was good .... most of us just wish there was some consistency somewhere in-between those two extremes. Until that happens, CB will struggle to win many of us over (or back in the case of some who backed him until last week). Scotty, sorry no pot/kettle from me, i've not seen any of last weeks gripers giving credit yet. Yngwie, your post is spot on mate !! even if last weeks gripers were giving credit they would then be accused of being two faced. i personally am impressed at the consistancy shown by the fans and hope the team might match it someday.
  12. well done to the lads for then win and i am hoping this is the start of a good run. still ot joing the brewster camp yet though he will have to provide the consistency of results to do that

am i the only person who rates stevie frail? i think he could do an excellent job for us and after the way he was treatd at hearts i believe that he would have the spine to not be a yes man

    What is wrong?

hmmmm g/k i think both are talented and can do a job but i do think rather than just giving esson one game that mike needs to be made to work to keep his spot. this dropping him for one game is losing its effect as he knows he will get back in soon enough. def. roscoe/hastings. im sorry but i think the rust is setting in, im reminded of golly before he crossed the bridge, time is starting to catch up i think and im not alone in thinking that we are far too often depending on the offside trap.often guilty of leaving acres of space behind him. zadi not seen much but what i did see scared me. looks a real liability midfield mcbain, works hard but is getting caught out too easily. imrie/cowie/blackie/duncan when they can be bothered to play they are all a huge asset to the team but all to often the heads seem to go down vigurs and znder havent been given the chance they deserve imo strikers. not seen much but how many more chances can rory get?
  17. i dont think its fair to slate our entire defense i think they all are talented, i think one or two may need a bit of a polish but there are only really one or two who need the boot id say
  18. i have never been a huge fan of the fact he came back and for one wouldnt be sorry to see him go. not just for today but todays season has been strange from the off. i havent been to a game since the county match but having watched that, seen the highlights and read the reports since then there is a disticnt feeling that something is far from right at the team, i think owever its more than just the manager at fault, i think alot of the players need to take a long hard look at themselves too, far too often now we are seeing players on the park that appear to have no intrest in the game and are passing time. i for some strange reason clicked stay but i think its probably down to having a replacement lined up first .

    Snow

hmmmm nope w aint got any snow here. had some thunder and lightning but no snow mind you it is still 20 odd degrees
  22. I think you are correct Alex. Make no mistake it would be a disaster if ICT got relegated and we would seriously struggle to get back. I always laugh at those saying they want to return to SFL1. The SPL might be getting somewhat mundane now after 4/5 seasons but it is the ONLY place to be in Scottish Football. Especially for a team like ICT. personally i think we would struggle badly to get back up at the first attempt. i also think we wolud lose some talent if we went too. on the silver linng side the season tickets would be cheaper
  23. im with you on this i have voted in every election i have been able to either in person or by proxy. i was once told a saying by my granny that has stuck with me "if you dont vote you have no right to coplain because you have done nothing to try and change it" i also wonder if an electoin is one with less than helf the population voting then is it really a majority?
  24. hmmmmm 3 hours ahead allowing for extra time and pens. think i will avid this till the morning
