All members with email addresses will receive full notification today. The person who was carrying out this task sadly resigned in light of all of tihs hassle and fall out, we have a team working on this today. Notice was posted on social media last week and emails will go out today along with a formal notice and nomination forms. Just sometimes when working with a team of volunteers these things happen and I hope the members will understand and more importantly support the AGM on Friday 19th Feb in the Caley Club

I'm currently using my Dad's account, as Ally Davidson. As one of the four boys to go, I believe the situation has been put to bed. We went in there expecting debate but instead, it was a very friendly atmosphere and everyone got a say and it was taken into account by both parties. Being on the board of CJT is a thankless job and do it for no other reason but for our enjoyment which should NEVER go unnoticed. The behaviour on the bus was unsatisfactory and we know this, and CJT had to do something. We were all frustrated and the situation has gone way too far. Although banning us wasn't a good move, currently two of the boys banned travel to Motherwell today on that bus. So me, and everyone, from now on should start appreciating the hours of work and dedication put in by John, Leslie and the team. It's not easy for them with the lack of support for something that they do not need to do. So, we should all move on. Just get behind the team and CJT board and use our frustration towards something worthwhile.... Like County. I would like to point out that you didn't travel on the bus and the fact you came along last night speaks volumes. You spoke well and made valid points so you should all be very proud of yourselves. I'm delighted that the boys have been able to travel to day.

Really disappointed in this post and feel it has done nothing to help us move forward. I was at the meeting at we had a full discussion about what happened and what was acceptable and what wasn't (mainly on grounds of safety) . It was made very clear that singing was a positive thing and the CJT board members and other fans who attended enjoy the singing as much as anyone else and are also very appreciative of the atmosphere these boys create both home and away. The boys also had some issues which we discussed and I felt they left feeling a lot better and more understanding of the bigger picture. Unfortunately it's uninformed rants such as this that have led to so much of the bad feeling. I know you have considered joining the board of CJT in the past so I look forward to seeing your completed nomination paper. I'm happy to provide a signature on it for you.

Ok, so I've just logged in and caught up on this thread. I have to say I'm somewhat disappointed in a lot of the posts. First of all let me make it clear, I wasn't at the game in Stirling, nor was I at the CJT board meeting which followed as I was away, so I'm not going to get into the rights and wrongs of what happened and who said what. What I will say is that having a little information I am really saddened by some of the posts in this thread. Not even the posts of the young people who feel they did nothing wrong, but the people who jumped on the bandwagon and should have known better. Do you for 1 minute believe that the CJT board members in attendance would have a problem with singing and having fun? These people are comitted to home and away games and much more while holding down full time jobs, family comittments etc into the bargain. I know a few of them who are really hurt by many of the comments. We are arranging to meet the boys on Friday night to discuss the events of the day and identify what is and isn't acceptable behaviour. We are also happy to hear from them and what concerns and points they would like to raise. Please note that this meeting is primarily for those who travelled on the bus to Stirling I would hope to be able to post a better update when I am more aware of the facts and what the general feeling is on Friday night. I hope that some of the people with strong feeling will consider standing for election at the upcoming AGM.

As a well educated man, I'm sure you are well aware that singing on a supporters bus would hardly constitute a bus suspension.

I agree it's really sad to have to cancel buses and with the size of our club this shouldn't be a problem, especially after such an amazing season last season. It's simple maths and there are just not enough people to make it viable. A few people have mentioned minibuses but is anyone volunteering to drive them? I'm in London this weekend so I can't make the game but it's just simply a numbers game. The numbers wouldn't have paid for even half of the bus this weekend and CJT just can't afford to continue subsidising to this level. Sponsors may be an option but I think we have to just encourage more to travel and then we won't have this problem on a week to week basis. I hope that those who hoped to attend this weekend will be able to make alternative arrangements. Any ideas to promote the travel will be much appreciated

Only just noticed this thread So sorry to hear this news. Eric's health had certainly been failing for some time but he was at the games whenever possible. Very fond memories, great guy with an amazing general knowledge. He will be sorely missed by many Thinking of you Part Timer Laura

Also still some spaces on train 2 leaving 9.25am and going straight through to Queen Street and onward to Belgrove which is a 10 - 15 min walk to Parkhead. Train tickets will be available tomorrow night at the social club, Greig Street from 6.30pm - 7.30pm
-
Aberdeen don't have ticket stock either so their fans, like ours are buying a seat with tickets to follow
-
I think that the Aberdeen trains will be encouraged to use the other stations. The inclusion of the onward travel will be to assist in segregation. I'm certain they will have plenty trains on to cope with demand. As Lynne says they are pretty used to moving large numbers of people around with big football matches, concerts etc so I would take their advice and use the Queen Street - Belgrove line
