    RIP Tommy Burns

Just had an e-mail from Mike Smith and at the request of the SPL there will be a one minutes applause before all the games tomorrow. Fitting tribute. :clapping03: :clapping03:
  2. Think I have 2 (one for each of the kids). Same again please - see you on Saturday.
  3. No, it won't sell out before Monday and in fact you should get a better choice of seats as any season ticket holder seats not bought by close of business tomorrow will be released for general sale on Monday. Did you manage to get yours through the priority allocation?
  4. I don't think it's being billed as a 'send off' RIG. Barry is certainly hoping that he is still an ICT player next season.
  5. A big thank you to our forum panel and especially Mike Smith who stood in at very short notice to replace Dave McGinlay who unfortunately couldn't make it and Barry who was called in over the weekend as a late substitute for Malky. :021: Thanks guys. Also thanks to Steven from the P & J who fulfilled his committment and made a good contribution to the discussions. Also well done to the Gringos for making up time and arriving in Inverness by 7pm despite some delays on the way. Nice to see you. Bowling on Friday night - 6.30 for 7pm and then we have a boxing night in the Drumossie Hotel on Saturday 7th June. Tables of 10 are ?550. This includes champagne on arrival, dinner and apporximately 8 - 10 bouts of boxing. North of Scotland v North of England. Still a few tables left so spread the word and get in touch soon if you fancy a night out with a difference. Then we can put our feet up until the beginning of the new season.
  6. You have a PM
  7. I expect the new chairman to attend the Supporter's Trust meeting and forum tonight. Maybe you would like to come along and tell him that in person/ :021:
  8. TM4TJ I agree with very much of your post. My issue is if they are not good enough, why are they potentially being signed by our nearest rivals. We can't compete with wages until we break our pay structure. We need to be competing on a level playing field. It's hard enough for us to bring players to Inverness (up here in the sticks), so we need to attract them with a decent pay packet. Instead we keep losing our players to other SPL teams who are paying more.
  9. Morning us2. Supporters Trust is ?10 for adults and ?5 for kids to join. This buys you a share in the trust. We currently have a shareholding withing the football club and also a voting right of 10%. If we combine the above with some proxy votes, we can have quite a say in any major decisions within the football club. We raise money through different events for a variety of different projects. Some ICT based and some in the community. We feel that the AGM is not enough for members, so we send out regular newsletters (hopefully more of these by e-mail soon) and have this half yearly meeting as a bit of an update. The football forum which has now come to be expected encourages attendance at both the AGM and the update meeting we are having tonight. We meet monthly with members of the football club board to discuss any issues or to hear what plans they have. We try to give them a fans viewpoint where required. Why not pop along tonight or are you coming to the bowling on Friday. We try to do the bowling a couple of times a year and we have a good deal with Rollerbowl at ?5 for 2 games and this is open to everyone, members and non members. Usually a good night and we hope to have some players along as we have done in previous nights, so social events are important to us too. Hopefully this will give you some ideas to what the Trust does. At the beginning I thought that the Supporter's Club and the Member's Club would have merged to make the Trust, but obviously the supporter's club members prefer to stay independent. I think there is room for both as we seem to do different things, but it's a bit of a shame that many have 2 memberships to pay. I didn't get around to renewing my supporter's club membership this year, which wasn't intentional, but as I have not been travelling to away games, I just didn't get around to it. Usual priorities and shop discount applies to the both the Trust and the Club in exactly the same manner. I hope I have answered some of your questions. A little more info at www.ictsupporterstrust.co.uk
  10. Unfortunately Malky has had to go 'South' so Barry Wilson will take his place tomorrow night. Thought being his testimonial season that was quite appropriate. Hope to see a few of you there. There are quite a few people on here who don't seem to know much about the Supporter's Trust, so tomorrow is your chance to come and see what it's all about. It's open to members and their guests, so you can either join on arrival or come with a friend. See you tomorrow
  11. But if the St Mirren rumours come to fruition, we could have the Dargo/Wyness partnership reinstated. Dargs was injured for most of this season, so we might have got off lightly letting him go when we did, but if he hooks up with Dennis, we could be in trouble. We can't afford St Mirren to be a good team next season. It annoys me that we let players go to our closest rivals and we can't compete financially to keep them in Inverness
  12. I suspect we will find ourselves on the receiving end of Dennis's new found form next season. I am sure we will live to regret not getting him to sign that contract as arranged. Dennis is a form player and once he starts scoring he goes on a run of form and confidence. Unfortunately that is looking more and more like it's not going to be in Inverness.

    new top!

I think it is due next month sometime, but the Football Club do their best to keep it under wraps until they can have a proper launch. There is usually a leak from somewhere, but I haven't seen anything yet.

  15. Good post Tom Well done Barry - hope there are a few more goals in him yet. :021: :021:
  16. Hope the weather holds for you (although you could probably do with it cooling off a little). Have a great time, see you all next weekend. :021:
  17. :007: :007:
  18. Possibly, although I don;t want to throw that accusation at someone I don't really know, when I have absolutely no evidence, and also no reason to follow this up. No not possibly - definitely wasn't him.
  19. If I was Dennis and there is a deal on the table, I would sign it quick.

  21. There was an incident, but not as you say and nothing to do with Golly. My point is that you are making reference to a situation when you can't even remember the facts. It was about 2 years ago and the fan concerned has resolved his differences with Mike, so I see no reason to drag this up again.
  22. Tell us about the fans shouting Golly's name fiasco Jay 7. I think I'll accept everyone's humble pie for this!!! Someone did do all the things I've said though. If not Mike Smith then I have no idea who. What was the outcome of the meeting regarding the banner? Mike will e-mail you directly with his response
  23. No the other person wasn't called Mike. Don't know if he would have recognised you or not though. It really is very embarassing and everyone else who has posted in response to the way you were (not) treated is also in a bit of an embarassing situation. Humble pie all round??
  24. Scotty - I hope you don't mind, that I have unlocked this thread. I would like people to have the opportunity to apologise. :001: I had a meeting with Mike today and there is a reason why 'Mike' spoke to Tom in a manner that surprised us. IT WAS NOT MIKE SMITH He wasn't even in the building at that time and when he did arrive he was in a meeting for most of the game. He phoned me just after the game to set up today's meeting and I can verify the fact that he was definitely in a meeting and not out at the reserve game. I think that he has confused Mike with someone else at the Stadium. Apologies will be accepted and Tom I think you might like to apologise directly for starting this thread when it was just a case of mistaken identity. I have to say that Mike has taken it in very good part and actually can see the funny side of it, he didn't even know he had a twin brother. :rotflmao:
  25. But which will draw the biggest crowd? Ross's game was very last minute and they took Sheffield as they were about anyway. I think that Barry's testimonial committee have done a lot of work to bring a 'big' club. I'm pretty sure we'll see a sell out and hopefully we might see a few of the names we recognise from Liverpool. It'll be good to see some of the old faces back in an ICT shirt. You obviously weren't on Ross's committee then! No need to try and score points here LG. Wait and see what "Liverpool X1" actually turns up before blowing your trumpet. :018: :018: And I'm not on Barry's testimonial committee either, so no point scoring for me. I do know how much hard work it has taken to pull this off though. None of it mine I might add. :003:
